Hi Everyone, Let me just say how much I appreciate the feedback from players in the community. After watching posted videos and articles, it was made very clear . . "JUST TELL US WHAT THE HATS DO!" Well, with this release your wish is my command! IMPROVEMENTS: 1. There is now a new rebind-able key called INFO. If any hat is present in the room, just press and hold the INFO key to display a brief description of what the hat(s) do! By default, the INFO key is "E" or "Y Button" on an XBOX 360 controller. 2. The tutorial has been updated to include the use of the INFO button. 3. There are now two waves of enemies per room based on game difficulty. After the first wave is defeated, a smaller second wave appears immediately. This is a better way to handle enemy generation vs slowly letting enemies appear in the room over time. BUG FIXES: 1. Fixed an issue where if you generated a black hole and an enemy just appeared as the hole closed, the enemy might fly off the screen and prevent level progression. Thanks again, and I hope this release enhances the experience of MANY FACES. Thanks, WANZUNGDEV
Hi Everyone, Thanks to all who have been playing MANY FACES! I have been gathering a list of tweaks and fixes to make based on several YouTube videos posted by players. I am happy to announce that version 1-0-0-2 is now available. What happened to version 1-0-0-1, well . . I only fixed the mouse aim in that version so I only posted a small patch note about it. In case you missed it, version 1-0-0-1 simply allows you to freely move the mouse around the screen to aim instead of locking the cross hair around the player. VERSION 1-0-0-2 PATCH NOTES: ----------------------------------- BUG FIXES: - Fixed an issue where if the player rolled in mid air through a platform while wearing a hat, the hat would get stuck in the platform. Now the hat will fall back to the ground or platform below instead of getting stuck. - Fixed an issue where if the player is wearing the fire hat, the flames generated would fall through the invisible collapsing platforms. This not only looked goofy but also made the hat less useful. Now flames stay fixed in the position they were created. - Fixed an issue where if the player is blown up to a platform by the air vents the player is bounced up/down on the platform. This affected the players ability to jump once blown to the top of the platform. Now the air vents have been tweaked to get the player to the platform but are not so strong as to continue to blow the player up in the air, creating the bouncing affect. - Fixed an issue with the bomb and banana hats where if the bomb/banana exploded right on top of an enemy, an annoying reverb sound was created. IMPROVEMENTS: - The flames generated by the fire hat now last 2 seconds longer, making them more effective. - Big Brother now drops spikes from the ceiling when he does his ground pound, so look out! - Replaced awkward cannons in Holy Ship stage with two faces that shoot bullets towards the player. - Holy Ship now has more room to move right to left - Holy Ship can now generate faces occasionally that home towards the player to explode Again, thanks to all that have been playing and providing feedback. Thanks, WANZUNGDEV
Hi Everyone, Thanks to all who have been playing MANY FACES and providing feedback. I have released a small update to the game today that addresses the wonky mouse aim issue. The mouse aim is now a free look instead of being locked to a circle around the player. This should make it a lot easier to aim for those using mouse and keyboard. The controller aiming works fine. Thanks, WANZUNGDEV
MANY FACES is finally released on the Steam Store! Enjoy some retro arcade fun!
