Hey All, Jakub the Creative Director here! Hard to believe we've been ruining weddings for two whole years now, wow, wow, wow! WHAT THE GOLF? - it's like RoYP, but golf instead of clouds! WHAT THE GOLF? combines zero rules with nonsensical physics and a ton of surprises perfect for people who like their games, shall we say, unpredictable.
Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion - different gameplay, but same energy! Play as an adorable yet trouble-making turnip. Avoid paying taxes, solve plantastic puzzles, harvest crops and battle massive beasts all in a journey to tear down a corrupt vegetable government! (Features a little Cloudy Camo if you can find it)
DEEEER Simulator - another unpredictable cartoon craziness. A Slow-Life Town Destruction Game. You can spend your days enjoying a nice, relaxed frolic here and there together with the other animals around town, or you can choose to relieve some stress and absolutely destroy the town and everything in it.
Wobbledogs - what if instead of your own Cloud, you had your own wobbly pet? A 3D pet simulation where you raise your own personal hive of mutating dogs, physically simulated all the way down to their guts!

Remember if youve beaten the game head over to your Cloud House and turn on some cheat codes in the Cheat Box. So far, weve added codes that make craniums get crazy big, a cheat that reduces gravity, and the ever so cute Mini-Cloud! This weeks cheat is a speedy surprise, so get your rings ready.

You wanted more Rain on Your Parade, and here it is! For the entire month of July, weve got weekly updates and in-game events coming your way for FREE! Each update will roll out on Friday morning, starting this week and wrapping up on the 30th.
First of all, every week of July you can unlock a new exclusive decor, hidden somewhere on the Overworld! Its an epic egg hunt in July - the Easter Bunny would be jealous!
Each new decor will only be available for that week (starting each Friday), so put your hunting skills to good use! Heres a thought for the first one: its almost the 4th of July in the U.S. (Yes thats a hint ;)
Secondly, were adding ridiculous cheat codes to amp up the cloud chaos! Will these cheats break the game? YOU BET! But thats part of the fun. (Buggy would be proud) If youve beaten the game already, you will now find a ~mysterious~ new chest in your Cloud House:

First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has submitted bugs to us!!! You guys are awesome and helping us make Rain on Your Parade the best game it could be! We definitely stayed busy fixing and tweaking as much as we could. You might have not noticed, but we've actually been update the Steam build every night! I think this is the first night when we're actually not pushing a new update (hopefully a good sign we fixed everything?)

Here's the Patch Notes:

• Re-designed the penultimate Seattle Defense level to speed it up and make it less tedious to re-play
• Fixed an exploit where you could unlock some achievements without actually doing the things you need to do (sorry!)
• Clarified some objective names and added hints to make some levels less confusing
• Improved face drawing smoothing when brush size is smol
• Added nicer background to Cardboard Gear Cloud (since so many of you enjoyed taking photos there!)
• A few quality-of-life and difficulty tweaks (like guards on Cardboard Gear Cloud having slightly shorter sight distance)
• Fixed a bunch of places where you could clip out of the world (particularly the Cloudbuster Canyon)
• Added "Join our Newsletter" button to main menu like the shameless self-promoting clouds we are
• Replaced some older decors with brand new, flashier ones!
• Fixed a bug in Weatherman Goes to Work that could cause cars not to appear
• Fixed missing collisions on some objects
• Bunch of other minor fixes we forgot!

(if you're playing on consoles, don't worry - you got all the critical updates already, and anything left is coming soon as well!)

Hi Everyone! First of all, thank you for following the game thus far :) We're doing really well on development and hitting all our milestones! We're already looking at the weather calendar for next year to find the rainiest day possible. While working on the main game, we're doing a lot of polish and tweaks on existing elements, so it makes sense to update the demo as well!

Latest update include, among others:

Fancy animated UI

New character

New "Potato" graphical quality level - it looks like trash, it runs like a dream!

(Note: Potato mode is experimental low-fidelity graphics setting intended only for lowest performing computers. Some effects, like transparency, may not display properly)

Reworked some scenes to make them livelier

For instance on Beach, instead of just standing awkwardly, some folks will now dance and play around, others lie down and sun bathe. And on the wedding, the bride actually WALKS UP to the altar now! (are we next gen or what??)

Improved lighting on the Overworld

...and many more other bug fixes and minor tweaks!

Here at Unbound Creations, we believe in the Cult of the Cloud, so naturally we spent our weekend carving an offering - The Pumpkin Cloud! And you, too, can carve one - for a mere $10 or less! Here's our recipe (WITHOUT 5 pages of personal life stories, what a treat).

What you'll need

• Pumpkin
• X-Acto Knife or Regular Knife
• Spoon
• One Marker Boi
• Candle
• Some household cleaner + rag/sponge
• OPTIONAL: a really cool significant other to do all the carving for you while you show them your favorite K-Pop tracks

The Recipe

1. Go into a field and find yourself a nice Pumpkin

2. Use KNIFE to cut the Pumpkin's top off, and pull it out!

3. Use SPOON to scrape all the inside gooey bits.

(PRO TIP: You can separate the seeds and dry + roast them in the oven for some yummy snack! But don't eat too much at once...)

4. Use MARKER to draw your design. Don't worry, you can cheat by printing it out and tracing it! Nobody will know, not even Mom!

5. Now comes the tricky bit. Use KNIFE to scrape out the insides of all the shapes, leaving the outlines sticking out. You want to cut fairly deep to make the Pumpkin thin enough to see light thru, but not completely see-through.

PRO TIP: We didn't have an X-Acto Knife, but my regular Knife had a slightly bent tip due to [REDACTED]. The bent tip actually made it easier to peel off and scrape pieces. When you are done you should have something like this:

6. Use a wipe or cleaning detergent to rub off the remaining marker

7. OPTIONAL: You can also use KNIFE to cut out the back, which will make it easier to insert candle.

8: Insert lit CANDLE and turn off the lights....

SPOOPY!!!

Now go find a nice home for Cloudy Pumpkin, perhaps your porch, perhaps your bathtub, we're not here to tell you how to live your life, go wild and rain your heart's out!
p.s. Many of you have asked - Jakub, why do you capitalize Pumpkin? My answer: yes

It's that time of the year, pumpkins and spooks abound! We decided to add a little time-limited Horror Level into the game

We just updated the demo, swapping out one of the existing levels with a BRAND NEW ONE FOR YOUR EXCLUSIVE ENJOYMENT

Oooo look, what a nice warehouse, full of easily flammable items.... would be a shame if something happened to it......

We also upgraded the Photo Mode with ability to custom-focus, and save the image to your hard drive and Steam library! This should make sharing screens a lot easier. Took a cool snapshot of your mayhem? Tweet it at us: @UnboundCreation ! We'll retweet it and maybe respond with, like, a cool GIF or something, who knows \ _()_/

Plus bunch of other minor tweaks and fixed, yada yada, you know the drill with these updates... OK JAKUB OUT BAI!

Hey folks! We just released a new update for the Demo featuring:

• Photo Mode !!! Share some cool moments :DDDD
• Fixed an issue where some controllers did not work with the game
• The game is now more responsive on low-end systems with low FPS
• New Setting to turn off rain puddles (improves performance)
• New Setting to disable screen shake
• Button to delete save game data in Settings (a few people asked for it)

We released the demo for the game a week ago and just passed 2,000 downloads Thank YOU for playing, tweeting about it, making Let's Plays, and telling your friends/cat! With that, I think it's good time to push an update to our demo build featuring TON of bug fixes and optimizations for a certain console we may have been hinting at ;) The demo should run a bit better and have less spikes now. We're not done with all the optimization work just yet tho, don't worry. Big kudos to everyone reporting bugs and giving suggestions on our forum. Also special thanks to Pyrian from our Discord who has been re-playing the demo to death and reporting a ton of additional bugs!
