This version was a total rework of our entire RPG system, the only thing we were able to reuse was the collection system, everything else was recreated and improved, so that's why it took so long..

- Talents All talents receive an upgrade (which is a new talent, a hidden passive) when they go from level 4 to 5, you can only maximize 3 of the 7 available. - Corruption System - Rarity of Items - Equipment affixes - Perks - Farm - Soundtrack - New items - Mini Bosses Soon there will be a more detailed post about each mechanic added. All of these new systems are infinitely easier to update, so on the final road to v1.0, we're going to come back with the weekly/biweekly updates. It can be extended for up to 30 days, depending on the new mechanics that will be implemented. Some systems like bosses, map, familiars, drag n drop and inventory reorder are already done, but they are still unstable, so not to delay the patch anymore, they will come in in the next few weeks. Hey guys! This post will be very important for the final version of Mists of Noyah! We tried to add an extremely large amount of content and got lost in the amount of bugs that showed up. We had 18 biomes and an absurd amount of monsters, about 170. Something compared to games that have been on the market for more than 5 years. Unfortunately we won't be able to release the patch right now. I will list some of the problems we are facing, to make it clear to everyone. Following is good news.
The New Save System
Many players on Discord have asked for this mechanic. We accepted it but it also had a high development cost, as we had to redo it from scratch, excluding the entire old system. In the old one, you created the characters within the world, if you entered another world, you would have to create a new character from scratch. With the new system, you can browse with your character on any server of other friends, something similar to MMO games.
Complexity of Talents
Since the beginning, our focus has always been on quality, which runs in the opposite direction of the speed of development. The talents were great, but very complex. The options would be: 1 - Reduce the number of talents 2 - Reduce talent complexity 3 - Increase the development cost The only option that does not reduce the quality of the game is 3, so we keep it. The characters are very well built to relax in the final stretch. Most of the skills in the current version are simple projectiles and area damage. Nothing that will strengthen the identity of the characters. But in v0.9 all the characters gained a lot of mechanics, strengthening their identities, their classes.
- Vylat now manages to enter the body of enemies on the brink of death, to drink to the last drop of blood.
- Ninn now manages to pack a string and place up to 12 summons at once in the field, and still manages to merge them all together to create a unique shape.
- Rhys won several buffs and debuffs, with new combat mechanics. How to mark targets for all allies to attack, healing for damage. New mechanics of raw healing and much more versatility when it comes to protecting an ally with your faith.
- Allure gained an absurd growth in mobility and explosion of damage, which is related to its element of fire. Is now able to spread the burning among all enemies to activate the pyromaniac side, sealing your wounds with the high temperatures in combat.
- Lance is now able to use his arcane power to teleport in combat, go back in time, and also the skill that may be the strongest in the game. "Arcane Detachment" which focuses on draining your own mana per second, converting your mana to additional skill damage.
The Corruption System.
The system got so big that we lost control, it is simply connected to 95% of the game. So we had to redo almost everything to inject it, the good part is that it is ready, but it will take considerable time to balance and fix all the bugs found.
The Reason for not having warned before
We tried to cut some features to try to launch in March, we tried until last night, but when we saw it, we cut too many things, like about 30 new relics, Familiars, 2 Biomes, and there was still time. We soon stopped to think that we were doing the same thing that we didn't want with the talents, to reduce the quality of the game.
When does the v0.9 patch come out?
Unfortunately it will run out of date, we made a lot of mistakes in announcing release dates, without having tested anything before, we apologize for that. In the tests we saw the number of bugs that can appear, delaying development too much. The art part of the game is all set, the only things that are missing are critical bug fixes, mostly in multiplayer, heavy balancing across the 3 difficulty levels and some Vylat talents. The performance problems have already been solved. We will only announce a date when the game is playable, with no critical bugs found. The next date we announce will not be broken by anything.
The Good News
The entire art team was idle, having already finished everything. So we started to create a spin-off of the world of Noyah. That will tell a little about the trajectory of a very important character, that you will only know in this spin-off or version 1.0 of Mists of Noyah. This game will be singleplayer, as our multiplayer dev is stuck in the development of Mists of Noyah until version 1.0. As we already have a very large code base, we are reusing a lot to speed up the development of this game. He's close to leaving. I made this post to update you on the status of the next patch and talk a bit about the content that will be added in versions 0.9 and 1.0.
Big Bosses
Forest Boss - Basic Atk The Forest Boss will be added on v0.9, the next bosses will be added in the next weeks of the patch, the final 4 will be added only in v1.0.
Leveling System
The maximum level of the final version will be 50 (40 on v0.9).
Perks
"Perks" are points that you can assign every level, to make the hero your style of play, some options include:
- Increase a specific status (HP, Mana, Atk, Defense);
- Increase your damage against a type of mob;
- Gain bonuses when using a type of weapon or equipment (Robe/Light/Heavy);
- Gain bonuses in jobs (Fishing/Cooking, etc...);
- Improve proficiency in healing and shields (Applying and receiving more of these benefits);
- Improve Familiars' buffs;
- Increase resistance to corruption;
- Discounts with vendors;
- Increase the chance of loot and gold;
- And much, much more...
Familiars and Mounts
Undine (Water Familiar), Jinn (Earth Familiar), Hoot (Wind Familiar) We will have about 10 familiars, each one with its own unique buff. And about 12 mounts, with different speeds and some with passive abilities of swimming and flying, to reach certain areas.
New Enemies
Cannon Pirate More than 40 new monsters will be added, many with reworked AI. The old ones have also been redone.
Talents and Skills
Vylat - Wolf Skill The new talent system has undergone some changes. There will be no new classes for each character, however, now the characters are more connected to their elements and their classes. This has greatly improved the synergy between the talents, making the classes more interesting. e.g. Ninn: Will be able to summon several different Elementals at the same time, each with a specific purpose. With the secret ability that will be unlocked with your new equipment, you will be able to fuse with all of them and become an extremely powerful Elemental. With classes having only one element, we have doubled the number of talents and skills for each character. The new classes will come together with new characters in the future, through DLCs.
Building System
Now you are the one who manages your city, building farms and utility buildings and creating your own defense system, with elemental towers. The towers are structures exclusive to biomes, you can only build an ice element tower in your city if you farm materials in the snow/ice biomes. Each tower has its own unique passive effect: Ice: Reduces enemies' movement speed and at the final upgrade it even freezes them. Fire: Deals AoE damage and burns the area, applying DoT. Wind: Increases Heroes and NPCs movement speed and controls areas Water: Heals all allies. and more... They can be upgraded to get even stronger, improving the passive effect.
Corruption System
When the game starts, the corruption starts at 0. Every day it goes up a little, you can build decorative structures in the city to decrease the level of corruption in the world per day, but you have to defend against invasions because the enemies of the night will want to destroy them. The more time passes, the quicker corruption spreads. Day 1-5: Increases approximately 15 Day 20+: Increases approximately 50 A high-level decorative structure can reduce 20 of corruption per day Using corrupt items increases corruption as well. If you have 5 friends playing, all of them with all the equipment corrupted, it will greatly increase corruption. Total corruption has 5 levels: Level 1: 0-200 Level 2: 201-400 Level 3: 401-600 Level 4: 601-800 Level 5: 800+ It serves to show the power of corruption in your world, the more powerful it is, the more black holes will appear scattered around the map. They appear every night scattered around the world and block paths and invoke powerful monsters. You can destroy them to pass through, or destroy and enter them. When you enter it, it's as if you were an intruder in the Corrupt World, you can't survive in there yet, so you'll be taking damage every second you are in there. You'll have to find the exit as soon as possible. If you manage to leave, you will find a chest full of loot at the end of it, one of the items will be the item that removes part of the corruption as if you were cleansing the world. The corruption attacks are stronger based on the level of corruption in the world, the loot of the night monsters, and their strength, as well. Some monsters of the night are only born with a high corruption level in the world.
Difficulty Levels
Teremos 3 nveis de Dificuldade: We will have 3 levels of Difficulty: Normal - The corruption here rises at normal pace, it can be managed by decorative structures, it is not necessary to cleanse as many black holes as in the other difficulties. Nightmare - The corruption here is quite fast, you can't protect the world only with decorative structures. Unique loot, such as the consumable that cleanses corruption, and higher-level equipment are dropped in this difficulty. Noyah - Corruption is slightly faster compared to Nightmare, legendary items are more likely to drop. Unique mounts, weapons and equipment are also dropped, but this difficulty has a permadeath mode, if you die your character will be deleted on the spot. The only second chance you can have in this difficulty level is to build a Celestial Cemetery, ensuring you a second life. You can play with your character in all 3 worlds whenever you want, all you need to do is create them.

We've tried our best to release it until Christmas, but as you can see, the update is extremely large and we can't release it in small pieces, because everything is linked. Ninn - Unlockable Suit Our team has been working on the next major patch for 2 months. This patch will add a ton of content and will completely reshape the city and the world, I will talk a little about it.
The World

The City

The New Game Over System
As the crystal exits, a large system will enter the place, called "Corruption". Corruption increases every day and affects thousands of things in the world, such as events, the appearance of new monsters, attacks on the city, opening doors that are only opened when corruption is very high and thousands of other things. If corruption reaches its maximum, it will not delete your world or anything like that, but if you are not strong enough, it will be so difficult to play that some players will choose to create a new world. To clean up corruption, you will need to find black holes around the world, enter and destroy threats within those holes, but it has to be very fast, because when you enter these holes your life begins to drain, until death. These holes have exclusive loots, some very rare with exclusive passive effects.
Levels and Talents System
The characters will receive talent trees to distribute their points, each character will have 3 trees of 3 different elements(2 in v0.9.0), you can mix the talents in the 3 trees or maximize one element. Each tree works as a class, has unique skills / talents. The maximum level will be 50 (40 in v0.9.0).
Bosses
In 1.0 we will have 10 big bosses, 3 will enter v0.9.0 along with several rare monsters, with exclusive loots.
When will the major patch come out?

We are planning to launch by 12/24/2020. PLANNING. As development is complex and our team is very small, whenever critical bugs happen, the whole team can even resolve them and this ends up delaying the addition of new things.

In Mists of Noyah, you start in an abandoned fort that has been attacked and destroyed by corruption, and you’ll have to explore the world to find the inhabitants who have managed to escape the attack, to rebuild the fort and return to war!Hunt during the day, be hunted during the night
During the day, you’ll have to collect resources such as wood, iron, gold, special ores, plants, food, and search for lost inhabitants of the ancient fort!During the night, you’ll have to build defensive gates, regroup with the found inhabitants and protect yourself. Every full moon, the demons lash out at your fort and get stronger with each attack. If you lose the fort and can't get it back in time, you LOSE THE GAME!
