This visual novel is the last side-story in the semi-fictional Welcome To... Chichester world. Playing the previous episodes may be advantageous, but not essential.
The Story
When a guest at The Violet Hotel is found dead, Grendel Jinx and the protagonist are forced to investigate, to make up for the former destroying the hotels kitchen.
Unfortunately for the duo, investigating the death of a guest is the least of their problems.
Features :
- 5 different epilogues depending on your choices
- Funny and dramatic story
- Slightly more dialogue through subsequent playthroughs
- Developer notes available once game has been completed
- 17,000+ word story with around an hour of gameplay

At least investigating a death keeps him/her out of trouble

Behind every problem, there's a Grendel

The hotel waitress. With no kitchen to help out in, she ends up having to do the cleaning, which she dislikes

Not wanting to scare residents of The Violet Hotel, she does the only thing possible : Force Grendel and the protagonist to investigate
Skipping for microwave opening/closing is now a lot a quicker (there was a double delay in one routine which wasn't needed).
Frying pan skipping in the transformation sequence is back in (only available after completing the game once). It was originally completely disabled as the game won't play the correct music if you rollback and redo the transformation. Whilst it will still get the wrong music (after all, the commands to get it have been skipped), I don't think it's too much of a problem, and the amount of dialogue before starting the next dialogue block is quite small.
What I may due in some future update is add another tune afterward the frying pan transformation, mitigating the whole problem
