Hello there! It's been a wild ride for us in these past 2 weeks since we launched the Unbound: Worlds Apart Prologue.
We're really humbled by how well the game has been received so far. The prologue has been played by more than 60k people and it is rated 95% Very positive with over 350 reviews. We've also gathered a lot of valuable feedback from you which we'll use to improve the main game.
Since the launch of the prologue, we've been hard at work implementing features and tweaks you've asked for and more. Below you have a list of thinks we've worked on:
1. Full Linux / SteamOS support
2. A few tweaks:
- increase the time for the light portal by 20%
- decrease spawn time for the projectiles in the underground area by 30%
- add a VFX for the underworld platforms in world 1
- added separate channels for SFX and lowered the overall SFX volume
- improved the map navigation & added all the quest objectives
3. Lots of bugfixes:
- fixed a lot of UI issues
- fixed a lot of camera issues
- fixed issues with fast travel breaking the game
- full controller support is now enabled by default in steam
- fixed an issue with having the wrong portal in the wrong area
4. Some optimizations:
- improved map performance
- low / medium graphics settings should see a greater performance improvement
We also have some updates planned for the future, such as a localization update for major languages. But now it's time to go back and work at Unbound: Worlds Apart to make it the best game that we can.

Unbound: Worlds Apart Prologue is a short part of the upcoming atmospheric 2D Puzzle-Platformer where the main character, Soli, can conjure magic portals to travel between different realities in order to learn more about the catastrophe that ravaged his world. Inside certain portals, the physical properties of the character or world elements can change, offering new gameplay possibilities.
Unbound’s artistic approach can be summarized as a dark fairy tale presented in a cartoonish style, with the purpose to give the game experience a fresh look and feel. Curiosity and exploration will have an impact on the overall atmosphere.
