General Balance: -Increase income for clearing forest to 2* -Increase price of knight to 10* -Lower price for burn forest -Elyrion can no longer burn forest -Improved map generator with distribution of resources closer tied to the tribe nature settings -replaced giant reward in ruins with a veteran swordsman -Replaced tech stealing when meeting a new tribe with star rewards based on that tribes score ( 3* per 1000 points rounded up, cap at 12* ) -Mountain defense bonus moved to climbing tech Cymanti Balance: -Increased defence reduction when poisoned -Poison cures directly when healing unit once -Removed movement penalty on fungus -Remove boost effect when attacked and exploring ruins -Centipedes segments can now be converted by mind benders -Phychi get surprise ability that makes it avoid counter attacks -Raychi price increased to 8* -Hexapod price increased to 3* -Algae no longer gives pop, instead it connects trade networks New Features: -ELO rating for multiplayer games -Show win ration on friend info UI Improvements: -Soft keyboard no longer cover "add friend" popup - Multitouch improved - Game stats info screen reworked - Tech tree is displayed with the same background as the game-world. -Added zoom in tech tree. - Enabling/Disabling all tribes in tribe-picker screen by long pressing - Bunch of minor bug fixes. The Battle of Polytopia is a unique turn based strategy game about ruling the world, fighting evil AI tribes (or other players), discovering new lands and mastering new technologies. You take on the role of the ruler of a Tribe, starting with one advantage over the other tribes, and attempts to build a civilization in competition with the other tribes.
Wander in the dark cold forests of Barduria, explore the steamy Kickoo jungles or claim the lush field of the Imperius empire.
Each match takes around 30 minutes to complete while still providing a deeply strategic and challenging gameplay. It is intended to be a bite sized alternative to other time consuming 4x strategy games.
