a person who takes particular pleasure in fine food and drink.
What is the game, Epicure? In this indie game developed by a high schooler, you can cook amazing burgers and prepare drinks for your customers! Prepare your meals with 5 main ingredients: buns, cheese, meat, lettuce, and tomatoes. Each day lasts 2 minutes, and different days have different events that make the game more interesting! Your job as a fast-food chef includes and is not limited to:

Cooking patties

Preparing drinks

Assembling burgers

Managing your time

Serving food critics

Epicure allows players to do a lot more as they progress each day. Collecting enough money to spend it at the shop is every player's main goal, and there are many products to buy from in the store. Try out this game for yourself, and embark on this EPIC(ure) culinary journey!
NOTE FROM DEVELOPER: This game is still in early access, meaning that there will be significantly fewer features compared to the final version. Being a solo developer, it will be a bit hard to keep updating the game, but I will be sure to do it as much as I can.

Huge Epicure Update 0.1.0

Hey everyone! I apologize for the very long wait, but the update is finally here! Really excited to share these changes with all of you.

BUG FIXES

Fixed bug where a cooked patty would be replaced by a raw one
Fixed bug where money would not be saved
Fixed bug where loading a save game would not save anything
Fixed duplicate sound for placing buns
Fixed bug where two cups could be instantiated in the scene
Fixed bug where sauces would disappear after loading the game, even after unlocking it

NEW CHARACTER

Added a new NPC: Janet! (appears every 5th day)

Shes hosting a party and needs burgers
Will pay 2x the amount
However, wrong orders will deduct 2x the amount as well

OVERALL UI CHANGES

Added fill to font (looks way better now)
Updated main menu buttons to be consistent with font
Updated main menu background
New sound effects to the shop screen

SHOP CHANGES

Entirely revamped shop
New shop page menu with 3 main sub-pages

1. Upgrade Ingredients

Upgrade the basic ingredients to earn more coins
$2000: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cheese
$3000: Meat (since it gives more coins)
White star icon shows in the kitchen when you upgrade it

2. Unlock Ingredients

Still have your classic Ketchup & Mustard
Balance Change, price from $3000 to $4000
More unlockable ingredients will be available in future updates

3. Colors

Change the color of the kitchens tabletop!
Preview the changes in the shop as well
$1000: Red, Orange, Yellow
$1500: Green, Blue, Purple
$2000: Pink, Black
