Leaves is an episodic contemplative game with a branching story about a missing girl. The first episode, Branch 1, will be released around Fall 2020, both for standard and steam VR. In this game, the story is told through emotions, feelings and memories: the narrative mechanics is based on a branching, node based stream of consciousness. The player is required to reflect, observe the environment and explore the main character's mind to unveil the reasons why she decided to left her small town in the southern italy and, moreover, why she decided to comeback. Leaves narrative system is meant to relax and immerse the player in a complex story that blends drama and mystery on an alienating but fascinating provincial background, in the southern Italy. Leaves will be available also in VR.

It's not easy to get back home after many years of silence, and that's what the game experience is about: fighting fears by looking for help in the familiar places.
Inspired by ergodic literature and Virginia Woolf's stream of consciousness, Leaves's story is introspective, partly randomized and branching.
Leaves is set in a remote province of Apulia, in southern Italy and includes wonderful scenarios with full day/night cycle.
