Hey! Many important things happened in this update!
It is difficult to imagine a modern platformer without controller support, which is why you can now play Biba`s Adventures using your favorite gamepad. Also, with this update the game is available for users of Mac OS and Linux platforms. In addition, now it is not necessary to buy a game to try to play it. The absolutely free Demo version of the game is now available, but it has some limitations:
- Demo version has only a small part of all levels in the game is available
- In the Demo version in Runner mode - you can only go a short distance to try out the mode
- Demo version couldn't support full save. Achievements and leaderboards do not work, do not worry, everything is available after purchasing the game

DevLog #9 | Kuplinov Update (Checkpoints, tips, etc)
Many times i got a requests to add checkpoints into the game. At first, this was my idea, which was supposed to add complexity to the gameplay. But you have won. After watching some videos, I realized that not everyone wants to go through the game thoroughly, sometimes you just want to look at the main points in the game. Special for you, i do it... , ... Meet the checkpoints! The green zone in the form of a circle is the zone in which you can activate the checkpoint by pressing the E button. But it will cost you your coins and you will not be able to pass the level of 3 stars:
After activating the checkpoint, the effect of the blast wave will be activated:
If there was no explosion effect, make sure you have enough coins and try to enter the zone again. Also now chests disappear faster, this nuance is also not everyone liked:

Optimized a lot of mechanics, including significantly reworked character mechanics, and work with coins and chests. Now, when leaderboard have more players, you can watch you personal best result at the table
I`m worked at graphics, and now thin column look pretty cool
Now you must be a leader, because the best player`s nickname and avatar now showing at the main menu
*Also, you can see interesting effect, if you click at the best player`s avatar, but it`s a rare effect, and work not for every click. Now you can find a tips for using hearts at the runner mode
Now you can go to the main menu after death on the runner mode, escape the select level scene.

Starting with this update - i`m starting working at the introducing Steam services. In this update, was realized Steam Achievements support. Added 17 first achievements

At the last time i`m realized new shop section, where you can buy hearts, for using it later at the runner level.
Now count of hearts are visible at the runner mode
Start with this update, shield can be activated only at the first chunk, and you also losing one heart for this.
I`m start working at the new text quality in game, now you can see it at counters.
Also i`m added a new experimental cursor
And, as usually, the work of application was optimized (at this case, i found problem with death counter)

Last week I worked on improving the infinite level. Checkpoints were made that cannot be used manually. Now at an infinite level, you can get extra life, and maybe not one. The player has the opportunity to spend a heart by activating the shield. In a collision with an enemy or water, with an active shield - it disappears, and the heart breaks. In this case, the character is teleported to the nearest active checkpoint. New sounds and animations have been added for this feature. Just as before, I find places where I can optimize the application.
