Deep Silver and Vertigo Games are pleased to announce a new addition to the Metro franchise. Metro Awakening is a story-driven first-person adventure built exclusively for VR and will be coming to Steam VR, PS VR2 and Meta Quest 2+3 later this year. Developed by Vertigo Games in collaboration with Deep Silver, and written by Metro creator Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Awakening allows you to immerse yourself in the heart-pounding, chilling and tense world of Metro in an entirely new dimension. Set in 2028, you are Serdar, a doctor who has to brave the mind-bending tunnels of Metro to search for his missing wife. This journey will push his mind to the limit walking a line between life and death, rationality and spirituality, reality and belief. Serdar will experience what he once thought was impossible, awakening the force he is to become.
