Hello everybody! \o/
I'm writing this announcement to let you know that I've released a new VN on Steam (though you might have seen it already if you follow my developer page haha), In Fair Spirits!
In Fair Spirits is a sweet and wholesome slice of life story which details the slowly developing relationship between Edmund, a knight from medieval England who finds himself reincarnated into the 21st century for... reasons, and Abel, a peppy goth boy who speaks in incomprehensible internet slang that Edmund can't understand.
(Yes, Abel is a Tumblr user. Yes, his dialogue is peppered with various dated Tumblr memes/references from 2013/14. No, I will not apologise for this... Though maybe Abel should lol...)
Edmund and Abel might seem like polar opposites but they soon discover they have a few things in common (spoilers: it's trauma). They wind up bonding, and then...
Well, this is a romance story, so things inevitably go in a lovey-dovey direction!
In Fair Spirits is actually the third in a series, the first beingThe Fairy's Songand the second beingThe Fairy's Secret. In Fair Spiritsis a direct sequel toThe Fairy's Secret, and it takes place around a year after the events of that story. You don't need to have readFairy's SongorFairy's Secretto grasp what happens here, though, so if you just want BL fluff you can jump straight into this story without any problems.
Alternatively, if you're only interested in cute yuri fluff (The Fairy's Song and Secret are both yuri VNs), then you should probably give In Fair Spirits a miss. Marnie and Lisbeth, the lead couple from Song/Secret, do appear here, but their appearances are more like cameos, and they don't have much screentime.
If this story sounds like your cup of tea, then you can check it out here!

As always, thank you for all of your support! Since I write a lot of different stoires in different genres, I know they won't always appeal to everybody, but I hope at least some people have fun with this!

Marnie is a young goth girl with a less-than-sunny disposition. Her parents are going away for a week of sun and surf in Bordeaux, and Marnie has been palmed off in her grandmother’s care in the backwater English village Fenchapel.
Marnie isn’t much looking forward to her week in the sticks. Fenchapel is a small village with a population of less than 500, without any shops or cinemas. Marnie’s sure she’ll be bored out of her skull – and then, there’s her elderly grantmother’s continued ravings about fairies.
“Don’t venture too far into the forest,” Grandma Iris warns. “There are strange creatures in there, and if they find you, they’ll never let you leave.”
Of course, Marnie ignores her grandmother’s warnings. Fairies don’t exist, after all – and Fenchapel is so tiny, what can she do other than explore?
And so, Marnie wanders into the forest…
While exploring, Marnie happens upon a young female knight in a glade, clutching a sword. The knight has been sleeping for many centuries, but Marnie (inadvertently) awakes her. The young knight calls herself Leofe. She does not know why she went to sleep, but she knows that the forest itself is plagued by a horrible curse, and she is the only one who can lift it.
Together, the two young girls go on an adventure. They learn of Fenchapel’s storied past, and with the passing days their feelings towards one another grow.
Fenchapel, as it transpires, is for more interesting than Marnie imagined.
