Continuing in the vein of 'let's just keep pretending everything is normal' we would like to wish everyone a happy holiday with some amazing seasonal in-game visual changes and items!

Patch 1.1.1

Hello and a happy October to ya'll! We wish we had this message localized to Spanish, buuuut that didn't happen... instead we localized the whole game to Spanish!
And we also made a few other fixes! Enjoy!

Patch notes: (SPOILER)
- Added Spanish localization.
- Fixed issue where you could get stuck in the turret puzzle in Polyester Valley.
- Fixed issue where the Moose would not be visible in some cases.
- Modgunn now has subtitles in the Horn Room.
- Fixed issue where certain sounds from the Odin chase would keep playing after returning to Helheim
- Fixed crash when changing speaker mode in the main menu in certain cases
- Bear Ghost chase now gets progressively easier each time you fail
- Some shader optimizations has been done to increase frame rate on weaker systems

Patch 1.1.0

(SPOILER)

We're 3 for 3 on patches so far this week. After a long and dangerous investigation into the disappearing Robot head conundrum, I believe we have finally found the cause of the issue.

Patch notes:
- Fixed issue regarding traveling to another county with Modgunn attached. The game would deactivate her as you traveled, but not register that she was detatched, causing things to get weird in a hurry.
- Fixed issue when traveling to another county while controlling another bodypart than the torso, while the torso had either Modgunn or the Robot head attached. This would cause the heads not to be detatched properly, causing weird stuff.
- Fixed issue when traveling to another county with Modgunn attached, causing her to be rotated wrong when taking her out the next time, which could cause weird stuff.
- Fixed a puzzle in Shackstead that registered as complete twice, causing the map to display the wrong number of complete puzzles.
- Fixed a crash that ocurred when being attached to a furniture in Huldras cave, with the rest of your body in another area, then traveling with the attached bodypart to another area, saving/reloading and then changing focus.

Hopefully this takes care of all future Robot head issues, at least we're heading... in the right direction. I should leave? I understand.

Patch 1.0.9

Happy tuesday everyone!

(SPOILER)

This patch addresses some issues regarding saving/loading in Polyester Valley and Huldras Cave.

We have some reports of the Robot head going missing from Polyester Valley, unfortunately this has only occurred on console versions as far as we know so we do not have access to the save files.
This patch addresses some issues we found related to this, as well as some potential issues.

However, if you're playing on Steam and you have had this issue, we would love it if you could get in touch and send us your save files!

Patch notes:
- Fixed issue in Polyester Valley where player could skip the puzzle right before getting the Robot head.
- Fixed crash when attaching a bodypart to a furniture in Huldras cave, then traveling to another area with the rest of your body, then saving and reloading.
- Fixed issue where if the player left bodyparts in multiple areas, then saved and reloaded, the wrong area would sometimes be focused.
- Fixed potential crash when loading a game and an avatar does not have a valid area to spawn.
- Fixed potential issue where Robot head in Polyester Valley could be saved to the wrong area, causing it to not spawn when reloading. This may be the reason why players have experienced the Robot head disappearing.
- Added an 'allowed area' for the Robot head to spawn in when loading a game, if it is somehow outside of this area then it's position is reset.

Patch 1.0.8

Hello!
Once again some of you have been busy breaking our carefully crafted house of cards that is the Helheim Hassle code, so here is a few new fixes in what we have lovingly named patch 1.0.8.

Patch notes: (SPOILER)
- Fixed issue where if you quit the game while loading from Nivlheim to Helheim and then reloaded, Bjrn would keep falling in an endless void.
- Fixed issue where if you quit the game while watching the first Valhalla cutscene, or the first Hell cutscene, the save slot 'rocks' in the main menu would display 'missing translation'.
- Made the game force a save when changing worlds to prevent possible data loss due to something blocking normal saving.

Hello again, long time no see!

This is a small patch containing only two fixes. However, if you've enjoyed playing the game and still haven't given it a positive review... you should fix that. That way we fix something, you fix something, everybody wins!

Patch notes: (SPOILER)
- Fixed issue with symbol puzzle in Wetwood where the door would remain closed after saving/reloading without players being able to open it again.
- Fixed issue where the badger in Balders Gym would not let you tell him the password to the VVIP area.

Patch 1.0.6

Hello everyone and our sincerest condolences on it being tuesday.

Here is a small patch fixing some issues in Riverrum:

Stonemart:
- Fixed save breaking issue that stopped players from being able to buy things from Stoneopher, or made all items free of charge depending on level of breakage. Added automatic fix for save files experiencing this issue.


Einars Crazy Puzzle Extravaganza:
- Fixed issue with sign in the middle where facing the wrong way would cause the wrong interaction bounds to be used.
- Fixed issue with sign in the middle where if you completed the first half of the dungeon, then saved/reloaded, and then completed the second half, the sign would not be activated correctly.

Patch 1.0.5

IMPORTANT: If you have completed the main story on one save and then quit to menu and started a new save, that save may be broken.
There was an issue with version 1.0.2 where the 'mainStoryFinished' flag would not reset if playing on a save that had finished the main story -> quitting to menu -> creating a new save.
This issue led to the Good Bjrn achievement being unlocked when it wasn't supposed to.
Another problem with this is that it will completely break your save when reaching Helheim, and potentially break it when reaching Shackstead.
To check if this issue affects you, you can look at your save slot menu:

If you haven't completed the main story, but the icon in the picture is glowing, you have this issue.
This patch will check your save files and fix it if you have not reached Shackstead yet. If you have reached Shackstead however, we are really sorry to inform you that your save files are broken and you should start a new game if you want to keep playing.

Patch notes:
- Added a check to fix your save data if the mainStoryFinished flag is set when it wasn't supposed to, and you havent reached Shackstead yet.
- Fixed an issue where players could fast travel away from Polyester Valley before unlocking any fast travel points, making this area forever inaccessible.

Patch notes: (SPOILERS)

- Fixed issue where leaving Modgunn attached to her door in Shackstead, and then traveling to another level, saving and quitting would cause the game to crash when loading.
- Fixed issue where reattaching Modgunn to her door in Shackstead would cause the game to save when it wasn't supposed to.
- Fixed issue where leaving Modgunn in one area and then traveling to another area in the same world, then saving and reloading, would cause her to spawn and fall infinetly until the player put her back in their inventory or traveled to another world.
- Fixed issue where time since last save would always show as 'less than one minute' because I'm... quite frankly, not a very good programmer.
- Added two additional checkpoints to a certain chase sequence in Wetwood.
- Fixed a draw order issue in New Goblin Woods
- Added a door in Shackstead to prevent players from skipping huge parts of the level.
- Fixed issue where 'These Runes Are Made Up' quest could be started again after completing it.

It's time for the very first post-launch patch. There have been a few reported issues since release that we wanted to address as soon as possible.

Patch notes 1.0.3

- Fixed issue where if you united an arm with the torso or a leg while climbing a corner, the arm would no longer be able to be crushed by moving platforms.
- Fixed issue where bodyparts would not 'disconnect' from moving platforms when dying, resulting in the bodypart being offset by however much the platform had moved when respawning.
- Fixed issue where you could potentially enter the horn room before you were supposed to.
- Disabled autosave every 10 minutes to prevent people from potentially getting stuck somewhere and then the game saves. The game saves often enough between events that this should not cause any huge issues.
- Fixed issue where players could fast travel from a active puzzlecon puzzle, causing the puzzle not to be exited properly.
- Fixed issue where throwing Modgunn into an inaccessible area would trigger a 'run away' sequence, which would soft-lock the game because Modgunn cannot move.
- Fixed an exploit where players could repeatedly autothrow->unite->autothrow in order to scale walls.
- Fixed issue where Good Bjrn achievement would unlock when it wasn't supposed to.
