We are celebrating Steam Summer Festival 2020 this year with upcoming release of Dodo Adventures. Dodo Adventures is a nature related experience and game where you can teleport yourself to the past, tropical island where you are not quite a human being anymore!

Your holiday destination this year: Hamari Island. This non-violent VR adventure will give you a much-needed break from the reality. You can choose to explore a tropical island or fill tasks to further the story.

We are from TechLemon Ltd and started Dodo Adventures as an idea while traveling in the Indian Ocean in 2018. We are all together five team members and work mostly remotely (currently!) from many parts of the world. Juho: My name is Juho. I am a developer in mixed reality and interactive design projects. I am a founder and developer for DODO Adventure Series and have experience in publishing games. I believe that building a cool community internationally helps the people who are part of the project. Can you make impact to the world by making immersive serious games: "Absolutely! The chances are great!" I have a strong interest in nature conservation and serious games development as the world is changing and finding solution to battle climate change is becoming more and more important. I am also interested in ceramic art as I am wheel-throwing during my free time as well as playing the guitar. I'm is a human-computer interaction (hci) M.Sc. graduate from the Royal Institute of Technology(KTH) in stockholm. Aune: Aune is hailing from Estonia and has done extensive work with Dodo Adventures marketing and planning. Recently, she stepped up to make story flows for the game itself. Sunshine, ocean breeze, palm trees dropping fruit at my feet – my home of tranquility and beauty.

I live on Hamari Island, today I spent my time on sandy dunes, eating figs and dates. Winters are beautiful here and full of life. Summers bring harsh storms, but I take cover in a cave with my flock and the storms pass. So, life was good, but recently there have been shining eyes in the night and noises I’ve never heard before. What are they? Could you become one of us and help me to find out what they are?

Dodo Adventures is a VR adventure game that can be played with Valve Index, HTC Vive devices, Oculus Rift and Oculus Rift S headsets. The game is a story-based, single-player and currently under development. You can choose to solve tasks or take a meditative trip to a lost paradise. Forget your To-do list and escape to Dodo Hamari Island!

The game aims to bring awareness to the impacts of human behavior. The project has received funding from AVEK – The Promotion Centre for Audiovisual Culture in Finland, which has been awarded toward preparing a digital demo for the first game in the series.
