Hello everyone, The Nekojishi Original Soundtrack has been converted to be a native soundtrack item on Steam. This means that instead of finding your soundtrack files within the game installation folder, you can now access them directly in your Steam library. In addition weve added a new FLAC version download which was derived from the original master files. Thank you for your continued support of Nekojishi! The files included in the soundtrack are as follows:

• MP3: 320 Kbps 44.1 kHz
• FLAC: 48 kHz

We've been hard at work over the last few months and are ready to bring you a completely revised English localisation along with fixes and polish all around! (Also the OST DLC has been updated with expanded metadata and high-res cover art!) (Note: Saves from previous versions may not load correctly in v1.03. When you next launch the game, a screen will appear asking you to keep or archive your old saves.)

Nekojishi v1.03 Change Log

English:

• Completely revised English localisation.
• Rewritten text for better prose quality, consistent characterisation, readability, and accuracy to the source material.
• Rewritten decision dialogues to better represent the choices being made. (Be sure to update those guides!)
• Reworked all ending blog sequences to vastly improve readability and writing quality.
• The names of some endings have been updated. (Be sure to also update guides with these!)
• Certain secondary characters have had their name tags changed on their dialogue boxes.
• Fixed lines which missed some text changes made to the Chinese scripts before v1.00 and v1.02.
• Resolved issues where the newline cursor would appear too close to a text block.
• Resolved issues where the newline cursor would appear alone on a new line.
• Resolved issues where punctuation was displayed incorrectly.
• The control text on the bottom of the main menu has been re-worded for clarity.
• The Replay tool-tip on the main menu now reads Gallery.
• In the pause menu Records has been changed to Save/Load.
• The About screen has been updated to fix typos.
• Various other typos have been corrected.

General:

• Resolved issues where the side portraits would not appear for some lines.
• Improved the music looping for certain ending blog sequences.
• Added the ability to delete and archive your old save files from previous versions to prevent errors when loading saves in Nekojishi v.1.03. (Note: This process does not change overall ending or glossary completion).

Nekojishi OST:

• Updated metadata including high res cover art.
• Included even higher res (3000x3000 pixel) cover art in the OST folder.

Hi everyone! In an upcoming update were working on adding steam trading cards and backgrounds to Nekojishi. In order to make this happen weve decided to recruit our awesome fans to produce artwork to go alongside our own cards and backgrounds. This is your chance to have your art featured in the Steam version of Nekojishi! After the submission stage, a public voting stage will begin where everyone gets to vote on the 15 best artworks! (12 Trading Cards and 3 Profile Backgrounds) The one month submission stage begins 25/1 and will run until 25/2. Voting will begin on 27/2. It's been a long time coming but we've finally updated the store page with new descrptions and screenshots as well as revised the achievement names and descriptions in preparation for an upcoming update! Changes:

• New English store description that better reflects the story and tone of Nekojishi.
• English screenshots. (Finally!) Think of these as a tease of the upcoming update!
• New achievement names and descriptions. These have been revised by our English editor to read better and more closely convey the reasons you unlocked them.
