I recently was (finally) able to afford a Steam Deck and I could properly test and update this game so it runs butter smooth on it. Mostly, it was changing some stuff around so the screen's resolution didn't clip off the edges of the game. Now I gotta talk with Valve and get it verified.

Very small update to the game based off feedback from a Steam player (thank you!):
- End screen at Death Inc. now displays the proper end screen if you have all 50 gold stars (sometimes it didn't)
- Bug relating to the blue ghosts where they would sometimes be treated as angels instead of neutral

I've gotten a few comments on Linux builds that Steam isn't recognizing the achievements. I have switched to a different Steamworks library and I believe they are working as expected now. Please reach out if you run into problems on any OS and I'm happy to help! :)

Kind of a minor update, but I put in a fix for some windowed mode users so the screen doesn't go BANANAS. I also made windowed mode a little bit bigger. I also included my name on the main menu from a really cool and interesting GDC talk I watched. Thanks for playing <3

Very smol update, a few people suggested it would be nice if it was easier to count tiles between places to plan your moves better. I've changed it so each road tile has one dash in it so it's easier to count :)

Was brought to my attention that the "Forty Stars" achievement wasn't triggering in Steam. Turns out I had a silly typo on the Steam achievement ID where I spelled it "Fourty". Should work now, and the next time you open the game, it should trigger the achievement. If not, just beat any level (even one you've already beaten) and it should refresh the achievements you've made. Thanks for your feedback! :)

I've gotten a bit of feedback from people over the past week. In the process of updating the game, I created a neat automated system to build and deploy the game automatically to Steam and itch as well! So that's definitely a win :)
v2.3 updates
- Resetting the game now clears the spirit card as well
- When you deliver spirits to the last portal on the map, but spirits still exist on the map, you game over (no more weird soft locks)
- Windowed mode functions a bit better now and doesn't crop off the game on wide monitors
- Added more context-sensitive prompts for keyboard/controller support
- A few really minor tweaks I probably forgot about

Hello friends! A few post-launch updates that I wanted to share with you all! Thanks so much for your support with this game! I'm so pleased with the reception it's gotten over the past week. v2.2 updates:
- Linux and Mac builds shouldn't crash on load now (see below)
- Had some requests to include windowed mode so put that option in the main menu.
- Discovered some issues with the controller prompts where the confirm and cancel buttons were swapped.
- Added a prompt to back out of the credits and tutorial pages.
