Over the past ten years, we have been lucky enough to have created a ton of games and become part of your life. We have helped entertain your friends and family when you wanted to break the ice, laugh, or for those nights when you just wanted to stop your weird uncle from talking. (We arent going to name names, but you know who were talking about.)
However, with over 50 games, more and more you are saying that it takes a lot of effort to switch between packs to find all of the different games you want to play. In fact, here are some of the things weve heard directly from our players through social media, customer feedback surveys, and through hand-written pleas:
It's the only annoying thing about Jackbox at parties. Having a unified megapicker that recognizes purchases would be great.
I think it'd be awesome if they just had a singular unified Jackbox launcher that Party Packs would just add into, so I don't have to remember which pack had which game and go through the hassle of switching between them.
How has Jackbox released seven party packs and not a unified combo-pack launcher?

Congrats! Youve found the perfect blog post. Jackbox Games are local multiplayer games, but with a few extra steps, its easy to get a game started with others in remote locations.
If youre unfamiliar with our games, our general How To Play page is a great place to learn how to start a room and connect players to a game. After youve checked that out, hop on back to this page!
Playing with Friends and Family
If you feel confident about your internet connections, just jump onto a videoconferencing service (like Zoom, Discord, or Google Meet). Start a game on your laptop and use the screen-sharing option so that your players can see the game. Everyone can play along on their own mobile devices by using a browser and going to Jackbox.tv. If youre having difficulty getting back to your video conferencing screen from the games full-screen mode, go to the settings in the main lobby and turn off Full Screen Mode.
If youre a Steam fan, you can skip the videoconferencing step and use Steam Remote Play Together. This feature allows you to share your local co-op games online with friends. Using Remote Play Together, only one person needs to own a copy of a Jackbox Games title. Up to four players (or more with faster internet connections) can join.
Discord screen sharing can also be a great option if youre playing on a laptop. You and up to nine of your Discord friends can connect and have both the game and video-enabled. Youll want to see your friends faces when theyre laughing at your responses in Tee K.O. 2.
Some consoles also have screen share or co-stream abilities as long as youre playing with someone who also owns that platform. Instead of streaming, many people have set up an additional webcam in front of their TV as an easier option.
You can stream using many different platforms, but we generally recommend using a PC to stream over a video conferencing service such as Zoom or Discord.
When sharing these ways, we recommend wired internet connections when possible!

We have some exciting news to share with you. As of today, those glorious champions you create in Champd Up can be turned into their own unique player card game! Thats right. We made a digital game that automatically spawns a card game and were calling it Champd Up: Slam Down. Heres how it works: Once you finish a game of Champd Up, visit the post-game gallery where you will see the option to turn your games most popular champions into their own pack of playing cards. From there, youre only a few clicks away from opening a beautiful pack of cards that you and your friends made. Or dont open them. Itll probably appreciate its value that way. But, in case you dont want to eventually sell your mint condition cards at auction, heres a brief overview of the gameplay. Since procedurally-generated card games are new to us, we teamed up with talented game designer Sam Strick who has a lot of experience in the tabletop world. We admittedly gave Sam a tough assignment. His objective was to design a unique two-player card game that was easy to grasp yet complex enough so that an average game would last around 10-15 minutes. Oh, and theres only a pack of 18 cards to work with and he had to do all of this while tied up to a chair. Given those constraints, we think youll be very pleased with what he came up with! Okay, so how does the game work? In Champd Up: Slam Down, each player takes the role of a trainer, a legendary creator of champs who has their own special skill. The goal, like anything in life, is to defeat your opponent. Players share a deck of champs (the creations you made in the digital game). But were not in the Scrawlisieum anymore, so these characters must rely on their new set of abilities. Take turns recruiting champs to your bench, sending them into the ring to fight, and using their abilities to overcome your opponent. You can find the full instructions and more info at Slamdown.com.
