Direct X error occurring on game's launch~

Dearest Quantumers!
Apparently, the last update was too much for some to handle - and so far two people (including myself), have received an error screen for DirectX when starting the game up!
This is not happening for everyone! I have also tested on friends computers so at this point in time, it is a mystery~
If when booting Quantum Suicide for the first time since the new update you get this screen:
Simply close the game and open it again - this should rectify it! (Don't click on any of the very tempting boxes~ Just close and reopen :D)
As for what is happening here, I am trying to work it out and so far my professional experiences says: "Ah yes, box box box direct X box. . . now we would be in trouble if this was box box direct x box, so we may be in luck."

Quantum Suicide is a game of betrayal, deception and romance in the cold depths of space.
This science fiction thriller visual novel tells the tale of an intergenerational mission and its diverse crew, fighting against a deadly AI (and each other) for the chance to survive.
