It's been a great and fun experience and I want to thank you all for playing, streaming, commenting and supporting us on Discord and Steam! Unfortunately, the game has never generated enough revenue to cover it's running costs (servers, licensing) even though for the last couple of months we stopped all development and marketing spending. So, we have removed all the passes (except 1 day) for some time from the store, we have reached out to Steam and they have removed the Play Now button, and on 25 December 2021 the servers will go down. (You can still ask on our discord for free passes) I hope you've created some cool memories to look back on and smile, we sure have :).

This is a big update for us, we listened to your feedback and we've redone the monetization system to make it simpler and more player-friendly, and added a lot of new features and bugfixes.
You can now enjoy unlimited games for free! The only limitation is that you can't choose the playlist, but you will get a random one.
Buy a pass from the store and become a VIP Member to support indie devs and enjoy:

• The ability to choose any playlist
• Cool visual effects
• More to come

It was a lot of work, but now all playlists have been manually curated with better lyrics and previews, you will definitely enjoy them more.
We switched from random emojis to our own cute game characters with animations and they also dance to the music!
We've improved the connection stability on multiple sides, and fixed some bugs related to kicking players. We've also changed some sounds and added menu music. We initially didn't have a ultra wide screen monitor so we didn't know there were issues, but the game now supports wide screen resolutions and ultra wide monitors.

This update brings back the previous design and adds the following changes:

• Ability to kick players during the game (when more than 2 players are present)
• Switch between full-screen and windowed
• Ability to change resolution
• Removed the ability to choose song length and difficulty (these will be irelevant when all playlists will be curated)
• Changed from 5 to 3 free game passes each month
• Added ability to purchase individual game passes and game pass bundles
• Limit to 60 fps - some players had issues where the game would render at too many fps

Featured Playlists

They are a special kind of curated playlist that have a few special properties:

• They appear at the top during voting session.
• They can have any number of words, at any position in the lyrics missing.
• The exact seconds to play and lyrics are manually chosen.

Today we are launching 4 such playlists, but will add more as we go:

• Royalty free rock for streaming (explicit)
• Royalty free rap for streaming (explicit)
• Misheard lyrics #1
• Misheard lyrics #2

So be sure to vote them and try them out, they each have 10 songs for 10 rounds.

Bug fixing & Optimizations

Thanks to your feedback, we found a couple of bugs and squashed them. We've done some connection optimization which will hopefully make the game faster and more stable.
