Dev Let's Play: Call Me Under Demos

To celebrate the demo being included in Steam Next Fest we're going to do a let's play! Join some of the dev team under the sea for an hour-long stream with commentary on Saturday 19th June at 4 pm Pacific. We'll be playing through both of our demos; The Human and The Skia, two faceless protagonists from The Surface seeking to leave their past behind and start fresh in a new city. Each character comes with a different background and, depending on who you choose, a different journey throughout Styx. Dive into the 1950s and explore an eldritch-horror-infested world soaked in dark magic, mystery, and romance. Call Me Under takes place in the mysterious underwater city of Styx, a haven inhabited by humans, sirens, and a host of unknown otherworldly entities. Call Me Under is rated Mature 17+ for strong language, sexual themes, dark humor, violence, body horror/blood, and eldritch horrors.

Dive into the 1950s and explore an eldritch-horror infested world soaked in dark magic, mystery, and romance. Call Me Under takes place in the mysterious underwater city of Styx, a haven inhabited by humans, sirens, and a host of unknown otherworldly entities.
Play as a choice of two different faceless protagonists from The Surface seeking to leave their past behind and start fresh in a new city, even if it is one only rumored to exist at the bottom of the ocean. They do say there's nothing like a clean slate. But maybe not if you find yourself thrown into the middle of a brewing fight between the Shadows and the Light; two ancient, otherworldly entities embroiled in a centuries-long battle for power.
Styx is host to a number of interesting characters, from a jaded private investigator to a cryptic medium, you're sure to find someone that piques your interest. We have six individual romances and you can also play the game without entering a romance. Our full release will also include voice acting from incredible talents such as Robbie Daymond, Allegra Clark, Noshir Dalal, Alejandro Saab, Tracy Ifeachor, Farah Naz Rishi, and Stephen Fu.
Call Me Under will be released in late 2021 as a full release.
