We are very excited to say that Mango is finally up for Early Access.
The current version features the first 8 levels of the game, featuring deconstructed depictions of houses, city districts, a forest, a cinema, a supermarket and other mysterious facilities.
The full final version of the game consists of ~40 levels, with a strong focus on a narrative and emotional buildup, which means that the visuals, gameplay and internal glitches will only grow wilder, stranger and more complex as the story and game goes on.
There will be monthly updates, adding new levels, features, achievements and fixes until the content resembles the final version of the game. The price will remain the same during all of the Early Access stage, until the final release happens around early summer 2021, with each update up to that point being free once you purchase the game.
We have chosen to be deliberately cryptic in our text and descriptions about Mango, because we think it best reflects the game's evasive nature. Let's just say that our story starts with our character going back home and eating a mango, and it all takes an increasingly strange turn after that.
Mango is a fairly unique and unusual piece, being equal parts old-school first-person adventure, and abstract psychedelic dream emulation.
Get into it.

Explore the idea of a mind losing its grasp with reality, and its tendency to escape from real life through art and dreams, as one's deepest subconscious fears become alive before their very eyes.
Get warped inside some unique, wildly psychedelic level design with evocative exploration, often triggering your feelings and memories to create a full, lived-in experience.
Mango aspires to be a sprawling philosophical and psychological experiment about what games and art could be in a time when derealization threatens to overcome reality.
You will need to solve plenty of puzzles, but the biggest puzzle is the game itself. :)
