As part of Steam Next Fest, the free prologue chapter of Time Bandit will be available on Steam, June 1320! During the event, I will also be hosting a stream to show off the unique combination of real-time mechanics, story-driven adventure, resource management, and stealth gameplay.
Watch the stream!
In Time Bandit, you work for a company that's trying to take control of time in order to make you work for them forever, so you start to steal from them. Unique real-time gameplay where everything you do takes time is combined with an addictive game loop of managing your money, resources, and energy to collect the time crystals before sneaking them out of your workplace. Don't get caught, or you could lose the time crystal permanently - or even end up in jail.
The prologue also features a high score ranking. How many time crystals can you collect before you reach the end of the prologue?
You can download the prologue now from the Time Bandit store page, and you can wishlist the game to show your support!

A Game That Takes Time
A dark life sim that unfolds slowly in real time, with an unusual combination of elements from idle, stealth, and puzzle genres.
Make your choices carefully, because everything you start will take time to finish--like in real life. You'll just have to go and do other stuff and come back later. This box, for example, will take an actual half an hour to finish moving:
Manage your money, fuel, and energy while slowly solving puzzles to collect time crystals and then pull off high-stakes stealthy heists. Steal back from the evil mining corporation that is trying to take control of time and make you work for them forever.
A Story of Political Intrigue
The first part of a story about life, death, fear, and revolution in a sci-fi capitalist post-apocalypse, told through lowpoly cutscenes and radio conversations inspired by early cinematic games.
Use the realistic radio to call characters anytime for dialogue about whatever situation you find yourself in and encyclopedic details about the world.
A challenge with real consequences: Don't get caught by guards or let yourself fall asleep, or you might end up stuck waiting it out in jail or the hospital.
Fixed camera angles in gameplay, just like in the old days. With a real-time day-and-night cycle and real-time weather tied to your location, to make the game integrate more with your life.
Plenty of playtime. It's a slow game!
