Hi everyone! It's been quite a while, hasn't it? Now that we've announced our next game, I wanted to touch up Frogsong a tiny bit before fully switching gears to the future. There's been some minor fixes and improvements I've been meaning to get to for a bit, so it's nice to finally cross this off my list before going full steam ahead on the next game! So, what's new?

This is ideally going to be the last bug fix patch for Frogsong! More issues kept popping up thanks to the Unity update, so I created a branch of the 1.2.2 build and reimplimented the bug fixes and optimizations I had done for the 1.2.3 update, without changing the Unity version. This seems to have finally fixed everything! Thank you all so much for your patience.
Hey everyone! Weird update today. Turns out after the Nintendo Switch port was finished and exported, Unity suddenly broke a lot of things and swapped stuff around on it's own. It took me a while to realize any of these issues even existed, because they're problems in things I haven't touched in over a year, and none of them existed 3 months ago. If you use the 1.2.2 beta branch, you can see this for yourself! None of these issues exist on the Switch port (thank god, I wouldn't have time to fix them all before launch). Here's what broke and has since been fixed:

A lot of amazing games have come out this year, so there's some pretty heavy competition, but if you enjoyed Frogsong it would mean a lot if you considered nominating it! You can choose any category, but we're recommending Outstanding Story-Rich Game.
There's been a couple reports of very serious performance issues caused by the update. With an upcoming influx of players from Steam Autumn Sale today, I didn't want them to start with a potentially buggy, slow version of the game. I'll be investigating these performance issues in the meantime... what kind of game runs worse on PC than it does on Switch???

Hello everyone! I've just released what is probably the largest update Frogsong has received. It features a lot of new dialogue and character interactions. I'd like to be clear that updates like this will not be common - in fact, this will probably be the only of its kind. These are things that I think add to the experience of the game, and there likely won't be any more major updates in the future. Hi! Short but important update today. It's live on Windows and will hopefully be live on Mac soon. This update simply fixes a problem where players would miss the second phase of the final boss. That's a pretty big issue if you ask me! More bug fixes will be coming soon!
