Game Patch Notes:
Players can now create their own profiles. The game no longer relies on one save file and one name at a time saved to the leaderboards. You can now login, logout, create or delete profiles. This allows for players to pick and choose names that are already listed, Each profile can be affected by cheats, although cheats activated will disable any achievements that are obtainable. The profile with used cheats will be flagged as "Cheats Active" other profiles can gain a completion percentage which is viewable by mouse hovering or selecting a profile in the manager. Each player will have their own respective settings and unlocks. The leaderboards and survival stats are now game based and not profile based, so each profile will contribute to them. [Bug Fixes]
- Steam cloud didn't work, which is now working.
- Ship camera on game start randomly stuck at zero coordinates.
- Survival stats max multiplier from resetting back to 0 on death.
- Fixed Issues with game saves with the new profile manager.
- Music in survival mode resetting to level 1 after pausing.
- Issue with retro mode not unlocking, wrong object was activated.
- Adjusted and changed some UI elements and adjusted screen transitioning.
- New Game Profile System: individuals can now login into their own respective accounts (up to 10), delete or create new ones. which is stored in a database locally in game.
- Keyboard P and Backspace are no longer mapped to pause or Back.
- Keyboard return now pauses the game.
- Added an Anti-achievement/Cheat system for profiles and cheat codes.
- Turbo mode no longer activated with Gamepad A and replaced with L3.
- Profile system now processes old local game save into a profile.
- Game Profiles are assigned to their Steam ID.
- Default Option settings are now set to low quality.
- Main menu ship model, cursor and options icon now represents color of profile slot.
- In game achievements are separated by their own profiles, but all profiles contribute to the main Steam achievements.
- Multiplier sometimes doesn't change to RGB when over 300.
- Steam Overlay can sometimes cause a possible game lockup which causes the application to close. [Seems to lock up only when broadcasting is active.]
- Megabyte's saber beam state glitches randomly, plays beam sound every frame, will not fire beam and will continue to charge forever. (unable to replicate it)
- Giga blaster takes a bit of performance due to the manipulating the material color to RGB with over 400 active bullets.
- Look rotation is extreme with v-sync off on high performance PC's. Menu transitions are very fast with v-sync off.

Build Version 79.0 [Bug Fixes]
- Compatibility with V-Sync off, high end systems with high frame rate caused pieces of the game to not smooth out properly. Look sensitivity with v-sync off & smoothing off will cause a very fast look rotation, turning on smoothing fixes this issue.
- Fixed while in upgrade menu, accessing options sub menus and backing out caused the button event selector to choose the upgrade menu "Continue" button leaving options open and no selection to it.
- Fixed plasma cannon weapon selection when enigma cannon was equipped. This caused the plasma cannon weapon model to select the "machine gun" and enigma cannon remained active, after the plasma weapon was unequipped the enigma cannon remained as the only weapon you could use.
- Fixed when player released the trigger the enigma cannon overclock bar would not drain, resulting in the player to over heat and take damage.
- Fixed issue with enigma cannon overclock UI bar remaining active when plasma cannon obtained.
- Fixed issue with fusion cannon discharge sound when letting go of the trigger if another weapon other than fusion was selected.
- Fixed issue with final MonoIcose boss. When EMP stunned while in beam state, the saber blazer beams remained active until next beam state, after the boss was no longer stunned.
- Made bosses appear quicker when entering battle scene. Bosses took at least 2/3 seconds longer to spawn in a bare space.
- Enlarged ammo and energy bars in game UI. energy & ammo bars were thin and barely noticeable which both play an important visual in game play.
- Added an infinity symbol to ammo amount when cyber, hyper or absorb abilities are active. Player can now know they have infinite missiles in an active ability.
- Fixed issue with rail upgrade 4 purchase price was set as rail upgrade 3.
- Fixed rotator attachment icon, was set as the wrong icon on game screen.
- Fixed issue with homing missile and terminus missile purchase sound not activating when buying either.
- Widened Level 5's design. Enemies spawned into the side walls.
- Added the "warp in effect" when reaching the portal after beating a boss.
- Smoothed the "warp out effect" when entering a level.
- Reduced camera shaking by half. Camera shaking caused an unstable jitter to player ship view.
- Changed the warp portal material image.
- Removed scrolling textures in level's 7 & 8 to reduce frame rate reduction. A large amount of objects had scrolling textures.

- Fixed [living in the past] achievement, this unlocks but then returns to false, resulting in the achievement menu as "locked".
- Fixed retro music not active when unlocking [living in the past] achievement.
- Fixed issue with turbo mode breaking on second playthrough.
- Tuned down the amount of energy that the rail carbine uses.
- Total number of kills for machine, spread, and rail weapons now saves, restarting the game, the player doesn't start back at 0.
- Multiplier sometimes doesn't change to RGB when over 300.

Log - 1/31/21 Build Version 78.3 [Bug Fixes] Major Gameplay Update - Added UI Elements for Core Absorb ability and Enigma cannon Overheat meter. Now the player can keep track of damage taken during absorb mode and be able to obtain the achievement correctly. Enigma Cannon Overclock meter allows better visual on keeping the heat down. [Bug Fixes]
- Enigma Cannon doesn't kill you instantly it just takes 1 shield or core respectively when reaching 100%.
- Enigma timer was removed and added into the primary weapon UI bar.
- Fixed issue with crosshair not setting to the original rotation or parented object.
- Fixed warning icon for overlock over 60%.
- Fixed issue with enigma cannon projectile explosions over playing sounds to cut audio off.
- Enlarged projectile explosions for both devastator and enigma cannons.

Log - 1/29/21 Build Version 78.2 [Bug Fixes] Major Gameplay Update - Added Continue Function, Depending on difficulty, when a player has lost all lives, an option to continue will appear allowing the player to restart the current level instead of restarting the entire game. Trainee Difficulty = 3 continues Mayhem Difficulty = 2 continues Chaos Difficulty = 1 continues Nightmare Difficulty = 0 continues
- Issue on game continue on final boss, would still be active in coroutine and firing but "invisible".
- Changed the enemy position closer to the player so they are not so far way.
- Added a range cap on enemies that move towards player on level 12, enemies will stop when they are close enough instead of running into the player.
- Enemies chase the player down more quickly in level 12.
- Increased the look sensitivity values by 0.5 and expanded the max range from 5 to 10.
- Re-transcoded all videos, some where missing settings, Changed to Deinterlaced mode to "Even" this insures game videos are NTSC 1080P.
- Fixed issue where missiles would fail to set lock on reticle and lock notification.
- Added an adjustment value to the scroll bars in the options menu, controller sensitivity shows current values instead of 0-100 as well as master, music, sound, UI and announcer bars.
- Added different Shield and Core colors when using enigma cannon, cyber realm, core absorb, plasma cannon instead of just invincibility. The shows how the ship impact reacts differently to enemy bullets.
- Added Explosions to the devastator and Enigma Cannons projectiles. (induces heavier damage and radius damage).
- Added sparks to the ship when enemy projectile hits it.

-Story Line-
Year 2020, 32 years later. We received a corrupted broadcast on our devices from an unknown entity which appeared from our collected data base on the aliens that we had annihilated to extinction years ago. The broadcast consisted of a garbled language we had to shift signal to understand. The message became clear: “You are one but we are many, We are not outside but we are inside. Your data now belongs to us!”.
Upon exiting the broad cast, our computers became infected with a worm virus, jumping from server to sever. There was no doubt the aliens now have full access to the worlds data base and infecting the intergalactic web.
A security program interface was built around the Horus. It was only accessible through the backup drives but the software needed a constant energy supply. The best way was to extract the power cores from the enemy structural data nucleus by destroying them. Enhancing the “new” digital Horus to be equipped with new weaponry, armor and enhancements by spending these cores revenant energy.
We sent the Horus into the intergalactic web and scouted through damaged back doors the virus had travelled into, encountering the byterrian species that was expelled from the virus burrowing themselves into structural firewalls with ease. The aliens hard coded the byterrians to be extremely volatile. The only way to get to the leader was the complete annihilation of these digitized species.
The Horus vaporizes byterrians and grows more stronger but the byterrians are just as formidable. As long as power cores were gathered, their immense plan to inject a cybernetic virus on highest security data structure on the globe will be negated and the world is saved once again.
The plan? Send the entire species back into oblivion. Its time for repatriation!
