I know it has been a long time since I have updated any of the De'Vine games. But upon further investigation, I have come to the conclusion it would be worth it to give each game a solid update. Especially Heavenly Acres. It has great potential, just an outdated UI system. Thus. I have been working on the UI system quite extensively. It will be sometime until I have an update ready, but it will come. Priority right now is the time sink I've been tasked to do Called

As some of you may have noticed, we have a new game in the works called Sit-Back Attack. It is an Idle RPG that has very deep character customization and challenging fights. This is the first game I have multiple languages that is being translated to. Progress on it is going good. Hello everyone! Or the few that may read this...

As some of you are aware, this game or any of the other De'Vine games have not received much attention other than being maintained. And my apologies for that! However, due to this very sale being quite successful in the amount of people showing interest, it has lit a spark under my a**. And I, Stapleton, have decided to get into making another game. This game (though the name still eludes me) is going to be an Idle RPG game. It is already in the works and going VERY smoothly. Hey!

This patch addresses a few bugs reported through the discussions and discord such as:

• Renown converting to NaN for a brief time. It shall not do this anymore.
• Inquistor NPC showing a wrong choice in their social wheel. They now have the correct choice.
• An issue preventing the player from picking up an item they already have when their inventory slots are full. Thou shall pick up to thy hearts content!
• Male sheep and rabbit not producing wool. But they should now!
• Information tooltip bar sometimes not showing. This is addressed.

Stapleton (me) is back to working on Heavenly Acres in me spare time. Thusly, this game will be receiving more updates, sooner. Thank you all for your time and have a very SAFE Christmas and New Years! - Stapleton

Misfit dialogue expansion version 1.25!

- Added unique dialogue to the players misfit when certain conditions are met(hungry, sleepy, etc...) - Added some more dialogue around the campfire to get to know the misfits better!

Other adds and changes!

- Added tree seeds as an alchemy plan so ye can easily make batches of them to create forests! - When ye level up a profession, receive a recipe in that specific profession. - Follower now stops following when you sleep or wait anywhere aside from campfires! - Fixed a number of issues brought to light in the discussions forum and discord!

What's next?

Expanded Tutorial System!

Latest patch adds an expanded tutorial system in the form of POPUP tips about certain things in the game when you interact with said things! - If you are like me and like to bypass tutorials, fear not! Simply turning off the tutorial in Menu::System Options::General tab will seize all tutorial popups! - To manually pop these up for more information, go to the Informational Tab in the System Options! - These prompts give at MOST 5 descriptive values about the mechanic or system at hand.

QoL changes

A swath number of QoL changes in this patch including: - Utilizing Farm Inventory WHILE crafting! - Disabled monster invasion and insect swarm to new characters less than 5 days old. - 2 Recipes are now rewarded to you per achievement completed! - Current Renown and Karma is listed in the Player tab in the Main Menu! - Grass tile can now remove TILLED land! - Crops are better checked for if they are watered when zoning in! - Speed at which one crafts in crafting is sped up by 4X! FOUR TIMES FASTER! And of course a number of technical issues have been addressed. - Fishfest incidentally saying Day of Resurrection! and not rewarding you. - A storage bug. - Story quest sometimes vanished. - and a # of other issues. NEW World Transformer!

A new piece of functional furniture for everyone to craft called a World Transformer!

Okay? What does it do?

- Transforms the overworld to a new theme! - Purely Cosmetic. Does not change the functionality of the world AT ALL! - Each element is unlocked by defeating it's respective dungeons! - The World Transformer will be available to craft for EVERYONE! - You can change the world however often you wish! This patch has core functions needed to build v1.10

Many QoL changes in this patch as well - Event jittering visual glitch has been fixed. - A visual glitch caused by rain resulting in large water bubbles on screen has been fixed. - Crops now visually blink blue when you successfully water them. - Hi-resource items (Perfectly Cut Logs... Etc) has been added to regular harvesting with a 1% higher chance to get them with each level in your respective profession (botany, mining) - 2 Achievements have been redesigned. The old ones were too difficult to get as they were dependent on a certain end to the story chapter. Now you will get the same achievement no matter which ending you get. - Renown has been re-balanced for Misfit bounties. - Sovereign has been balanced more. - A couple bug fixes thanks to the help of some patient players! Thank you! - Also balanced the Build Energy in professions!

What the heck is next, Stapleton??

I will tell ya what is next. Misfits. Misfits. Misfits. What is planned... - Manage a tavern: Hire Misfits to help run the tavern for you. Stock up on beer and other beverages! Misfits perform better the more relationship you have with them! - Manage a Training Facility: Hire Misfits to take on "Missions" with your monsters that you do not have in your current setup! This brings back rewards AND levels up your monsters. The level they reach CANNOT surpass the highest level monster you own. - More misfit backstories, dialog, and quests. Going to be adding a couple quests for EACH misfit. Have any more suggestions you'd like to see me consider! Feel free to shoot some at me! Now you can try it risk-free! Demo limitations include: - Only have access to 4 overworld maps (full version has 20+); - 20 crops maximum (full version is unlimited); - 5 buildings maximum (full version is unlimited); - 6 monsters owned maximum (full version is 200); - 20 crops at a time maximum (full version is unlimited); - Cannot go past friendship status with misfits (full version includes marriage); - Demo ends at the end of Day 5 Summer (full version is unlimited); - Access to one dungeon and two caves (full version has 9 dungeons and 10 caves) - 10% of the story - Castle is not in the demo - Access to one festival - Limited access to all the characters due to only having 4 overworld maps This demo will give you the feel of all the mechanics to see how they run before pulling the trigger! Keyboard configuration is IN!

It can be accessed by clicking the Keyboard Icon on the HUD in game or within your Menu :: System Options :: General. Hopefully it gives you guys more freedom to do what you want, how you want! Next on the agenda is Gamepad Configuration. I suspect this will not take me as long as the Keyboard configuration as I can use a lot of it's core coding to make it happen! - Also nerfed the monster levels a wee bit! Should be good this time!! - Among other small tweaks were implemented. PLEASE let me know if you guys have any feedback or whatever!

The Informational Menu can be found in System Options of the menu. CLICK on Help to enter into it. There will be many many pages of information with visuals such as all your crops you can farm, animals, and so fourth. Also included is a glossary. This will be expanded upon in the future. Do not feel obligated to read all of this or try to memorize it all. You can go back to the menu whenever you like at all times of the day! You have a cave that has many floors on your farm. You can create rooms however you see fit. With sunshafts you can get light in your caves so that you can grow plants and crops! This cave is different from the 10 elemental caves you will come across. If you defeat these elemental caves you gain a crystal that can change the 'theme' of YOUR cave to the respective element!! Caves are cozy!

As the title has conveyed, Heavenly Acres is alive and doing very well! It is nearing completion! I apologize for the lack of news. I like to work in quiet and secret! I have learned a lot in the last 7 or so years of developing games and it really shows in Heavenly Acres. I look forward to bringing it to you all! It has entered a closed beta stage where the mechanics, features, and all but the story is going to be rigorously tested. As this goes forward, there is going to be a lot of visual updates and overall news as it reaches it's final stages of development. Here a young couple are getting married! Once you get relationship points up to a certain % and the character is in a 'good' mood, you can propose to them! If they say yes, a date will be set. You can miss your own wedding so make sure you are on time! Or your crush and the townspeople will be very very mad!
A storm is moving in! Wind is picking up and the trees and rain are blowing in the wind! It gets colder in the wind and rain!
A brand new trailer is coming soon as well! Stay tuned and I hope you are all doing very well!!

Hey guys, I am looking forward to getting this game out to you all! It is definitely the most detailed game I have made thus far! Finished the cave system! There are 10 elemental caves thrown throughout the world. One of each element! Each one will act as a roguelike. If you leave, it resets. If you 'lose consciousness', it resets. However the cave in your farm will never reset! You can build anything you want in it besides buildings! With Alchemy, you can actually change the element of the cave as well! De'Vine: Heavenly Acres is set to release Q2 2021! It is the newest game in the De'Vine series and is set to take place in the Isles of Tenoch. Farm your way to fortune or battle your way with 200 unique monsters. Customize your world how you'd like! The relaxing Isles await you! 200+ monsters to synthesize and grow to your liking all with elemental strengths and weaknesses. A full farming simulator. 12 misfits are trying to make a life on the Isles after being stranded. Will you help them? Befriend them? Marry one? Or hurt them? The Castle located on the Isles has any item you can think of, but at the cost of high taxes. Increase the Net Worth of the Castle by buying and selling to them.
