The Linux build should behave the same way in as the Windows build.
In addition to the Linux build, stability changes have been made for the Windows build as well.

Halloween Event! |
Boo! It's Halloween!
Update 1.18 had brought a new game mode to VolticPistol. You can now select the Halloween Mode. In this mode, additional cosmetics have been turned on.
The environment will now be tinted orange and certain pieces are now Halloween themed.
Pumpkins, ghosts and spider webs will be found throughout the levels.
Ambient Halloween SFX have been added.
The player character will now equip a random masks and be slightly transparent.
Tombstones will now spawn after killing an enemy.
Enjoy the spooky update IF YOU DARE! Mwahahahahaha!

Located under Options -> Settings -> Controls -> Layout
This new layout will allow special abilities to be used from the D-pad
Can now skip the first cutscene when starting a new game
Settings will now save and load properly when loading a save game file

Enemies will now drop ammo boxes for you to pick up.
Ammo boxes contain ammo for the shotgun, revolvers, grenade launcher, and the auto-blaster.
Shotgun, revolvers, grenade launcher, and the auto-blaster have increased damage
Starting pistol damage has been slightly reduced.
Fixed building block on level 8 stopping bullets
