Join Ruffy and his buddy Snokko in this open world action adventure and safe the Riverside Kingdom!The Riverside Kingdom is home of Ruffy and his buddies. It´s a magic place of fantasy and peace - but things changed when a strange object appeared near the castle. All over the countryside cubes appear and promise endless entertainment, but whoever entered them never returned.
No go and do something about it! Explore the world, enter dungeons, solve quests and riddles and build your team to strike back! Use your strenght, use your imagination and above all: Use your awesome talent - The Swapping!
Unique Gameplay
First of all: Yes, Ruffy can do what every hero is supposed to do, he can run, jump, climb and fight. He can drive vehicles, plays basketball and he throws his bee like a mayor league fastball. He is a powerhouse, and yes, of course: he can talk too.But folks, the best is yet to come: Ruffy swapps materials!
Swapping? Well, it`s basically copy&paste! Want to cross a river? Just copy that ice nearby and paste it on the river - Whoops! - it turns to ice and you walk over. Easy. Want to get on top of that waterfall? Maybe there is a tendril nearby? Ruffy can change it all! The sun can be a moon, day turns into night. A rock can be a truck - lets go for a drive. Use your imagination and give it all a try. You` will make your way!
Swapping feels magic, it`s easy and it looks supercool. It makes the world the way only you can see it!
Open world action
Riverside is an open world ready to be explored. Unlock new areas, master Dungeons, solve quests, talk to townspeople, drive vehicles, jump, run, crash and climb - what ever it takes.Most of all: This world can change and it`s you who does the trick. Just swap it baby!
Artstyle
It`s all handpainted. Yes really - on paper. Not those photoshop or ipad drawings. This is real, pen on paper and then put into the game.Wow - you can feel it: we are BIT proud of that. It´s just unique. Take a look.
What else? Well not much. Except when you change the whole world - those graphics are all handpainted too ;)
Friends and Company
Every child knows it`s dangerous to go alone. So you just shouldn´t, right? But HEY LISTEN, here it comes: You got some company. It`s only a bee, but it`s yours and you can throw it. Smash away enemies, crash boxes and more. Swapping? Yes - use your bee for swapping too. Very handy when that lava is just too hot to pick it up yourself (or if you are just too lazy to walk there).Then there is your homie Snokko. He´s a hell of a buddy and always helps you out. There is advice and training, but there is also basketball and Snokko is pro on the court. Sounds pretty helpful when facing an invasion, right?
What more? Well, explore the world and see. You`ll meet those animals, creatures and ghosts on your way. No spoilers here.
Build your army, build your base!
Stopping an invasion never was a job for just a bear and a bee, so you need an army. SPOILER: You wont get one. But you can build up your Bear Force. Rescue bears, recruit them, equip them and see how much support they can give. Never give up and just bring it all to your base camp.Vehicles
Why walk when you can drive? Simply hop in and off you go. Some might look ancient, some from the future, some fly some, some swim, some drive.Go out find them and don´t forget to drop them in your base camp. Those lazy bears want some vehicles too!

Dialogue changes:\n- reduced amount of Dialogue for all languages\n- reworked Japanese dialogues\n- fixed some spacing issues in dialogues\n\nImprovements:\n- preview images in main area now have a night variant\n- could get stuck behind garbage bins in the Steep Games area\n- starting animation of halfpipe challenge looks better now\n- Ruffy is shown at correct map position during the intro\n\nBugfixes:\n- reloading the area before the Silya cave caused the movement sound of the stone pillars to play all the time\n- garage in farm sometimes didn\'t close again\n- wrong dialogue played when talking to Sir Eddler before entering the fourth Buried Cities\n- when loading a scene while the pixel drawings are enabled, sometimes not all selected objects were pixelized\n- fixed some stuttering issues\n- when closing the map while doing some input, the map continued moving after reopening without any input\n
Following issues have been fixed:\n- after winning a race against one of the Five Fellas, you lost when you didn\'t skip the dialogue\n- you could walk during cutscene in area before fight against Silya\n- your rotation wasn\'t reset when doing a frame perfect jump when climbing up a vine with a curve on the top, allowing you to basically fly\n- fixed some seam in the corridor before the Hurricane Heights\n\nOther adjustments:\n- door opens faster when getting a bale at the bale rental station\n- you can go back from the cave where you fight Silya now\n- changed fullscreen mode to exclusive fullscreen
Bugfixes:\n- you could enter some closed arrow door\n- punch button was shown above mole bells from a distance\n- pattern potatoes were a little dirty when they appeared\n- swapping some water on the racing farm into sand caused some issues\n- in the fifth buried cities, the marble could get stuck\n- enemies were sometimes disabled in the buried cities\n- issues when renting a bale at the halfpipe\n- visual/position issues at the beginning of the halfpipe challenges\n- drowning sound/sprite in ocean sometimes quickly came without drowning\n- Z-fighting issues, double mesh:\n - first cutscene showing the buried cities\n - path from Crash Island to the jungle\n- five fellas: Ruffy sometimes turned invisible after the race\n- stuttering of sinking bale\n\nImprovements:\n- while Ruffy is punching, stone enemies don\'t cause idle damage\n- slightly increased normal punch collider again\n- reduced difficulty of stone enemies in the domino corridor fight against Groll\n- improved some cutscenes\n- audio volume adjustments\n- reduced stuttering when the frame rate is unstable\n- splash sound also plays when jumping into the ocean\n- always play running sound effect when starting to run\n- allow skipping the credits\n- allow to end five fellas race early when leaving the bale (in case you messed up early)\n- stone ball in the main area can now cause damage\n
The focus of this patch is a smoother player camera.\nBefore the player camera placement was updated on a fixed 60 FPS.\nNow in most cases the actual frame rate is used for the camera update, so the player camera now runs better if the screen and graphics card support higher frame rates. And even if the frame rate is only 60 FPS or lower, the camera movement should feel smoother now.\n\nMany animated or moving objects had to be reworked to update on a higher frame rate as well to avoid stuttering because of distinct frame rates.\n\nAnother noticeable change is the fighting system.\nThe different attacks have been made more distinct to make fights slightly more challenging and strategic.\nThe punch attack now is more precise. It only hits objects in front of Ruffy. This makes it easier to hit a specific box on a tower of boxes. And hitting enemies will take a little effort now.\nThe charge duration of the spin attack has been reduced to encourage players to use it more often. Also its range is higher now.\nThe range of the stomp attack shock wave has also been increased.\n\nThis update also contains many other small tweaks and bugfixes:\n- added a door and a white fade when leaving the town area through the small forest to avoid loading spikes in the small forest in front of town\n- changed how the camera follows the player in rivers if automatic camera alignment is enabled\n- when starting scan or throw, the camera zooms in faster now\n- fixed some multi throw selection issues:\n - when one of the selected objects got destroyed, the selection crosses didn\'t disappear again\n - the selection crosses had some small delay when moving the camera fast\n- camera zooms in narrow areas changes faster now\n- reduced the duration of some cutscenes\n- enemies walk smoother in general\n- added some new sounds\n- fixed some sounds which weren\'t affected by the global volume setting\n- reduced the amount of Ruffy voices\n- reduced dialogues of Pix\n- reduced waiting duration after applying the snoop onto the screen before Groll appears\n- changed some look directions after cutscenes and dialogues\n- Five Fellas quest:\n - fixed a bug where the opponent was stuck inside the ground while moving\n - reduced the difficulty a little\n- fixed some typos\n- halfpipe challenge:\n - increased the score of mini tricks, so everyone should be able to reach the 10.000 points required for proper cheating\n - more obvious hints that you are supposed to cheat during the halfpipe challenge\n- the forest tower riddle won\'t appear until you have to go there\n- fixed some issue where you can go out of bounds on the water spire\n- fixed some bug where you could get stuck in the world core\n- improved the unwraps for rivers\n- some fixes in the dialogue where you find the Heavenly Bell\n- viking ball can now collect coins\n- fixed bale controls: when riding the bale, it sometimes stopped moving for a short time after boosting\n- made the slot machine slower and easier to win\n- no need to press anything after watching the credits, the transition back to the main menu is automatic\n- fixed some subtle stuttering while caused by automatic camera alignment\n- ghosts at the graveyard always look in the direction they are flying to\n- fixed some issue with resetting the world core\n- fixed some duplicate voices during dialogues\n- scaled graffiti symbols to fit the grid drawing\n- increased hit boxes of environment assets (grass, one tree type)\n- small rework of stone enemy:\n - stones won\'t get destroyed immediately after hitting the stone enemy, so it doesn\'t get destroyed in a single hit\n - stones falling out of stone enemy disappear much faster\n- intro screen smooth animation\n- fixed some issue with the tower cutscene in intro\n- general visual improvements of the landscape\n
This patch mostly adds the convenience feature to fast forward dialogues and skip cutscenes, mostly for people not interested in the story, and for people wanting to replay the game like speedrunners.\n\nDialogues will usually be fast forwarded, as if you mash very fast. So it won\'t work if dialogues have automated segments.\nAnd cutscenes will be skipped completely, even if a dialogue plays at the same time.\nFor technical reasons, a small amount of cutscenes can\'t be skipped. But most of them, including the longest ones (like the intro cutscene) can be skipped.\n\nBesides that, these things has been changed:\n- consistent versioning among all platforms, so it\'s clear which console versions correspond to which Steam versions\n- window can now be resized properly\n- reduced the duration of some cutscenes\n- also added the button to exit the game to the settings in the pause menu\n- walking on stairs is easier now\n- some more minor fixes\n

- improvements for the beginnig of the Pix quest
- improved dreamstone visibility
- fixed an issue where the drawing board camera didn't always focus the waterfall
- when drawing the first waterfall texture using the drawing board next to Pix, the waterfall will always turn back into water
- different music when being lost in the Currents of Colors
- fixed some missing character in the Japanese font
- adjusted the apply effect radius for some objects
- reduced the number of Ruffy gliding voices
- second exit at wall riddle on Crash Island
- fixed an issue where the ice riddle at the Tree of Life could be solved early
- some more small fixes
- added support for different resolutions without black bars
- reduced the amount of dialgue lines for most of the intro dialogues
- increased the sizes of some texts and reworked them to improve readability on Steam Deck
- HEART-O-BOT doesn't sell hearts anymore when they are full
- don't allow skipping some intro dialogue at the beach
- fixed bug that prevented closing the game in the main menu
- added another way to return from the Water Spire using ice
- unlock some achievements earlier (no need to go back to the questgiver)
- improved targeting during the SWAP
- more minor bugfixes
