Hey sword smoochers! Hope youve been *thirsty* for some new updates on the dateable blades. Lots of stuff has been happening behind-the-blacksmith, so heres a lil peek at it for you.

Moods

Weve integrated fancy reactions for the weapons. When you give them certain gifts or make certain choices, you'll know a little bit of how they feel, which they tell me is kinda embarrassing, but whatever.
They wont STOP liking you if you make an iffy choice, but maybe it's better to think about what you're saying or giving someone, before you say or give it.

Build Up Your Love

What's a sword without a wielder? And what's a game without crafting? That's right, we've been working on the crafting system.
As you slay monsters in the dunj, they'll drop various materials you can gather. Recipes will also hidden away in treasure vaults that you'll find as you explore the map. With these things you'll be able to craft a variety of items - gifts, clothes, and magazines. Each recipe makes a particular item, but you won't know exactly what it is until you've finished making it! Exciting. Keep in mind that different blades will like different gifts - for example, Valeria the Dagger won't be too pleased with a very "cutesie" gift. (Doesn't she know it's the thought that counts?)

PAX West & Demo

We'll be at this year's PAX West with our latest Boyfriend Dungeon demo, which allows you to date Sunder, Valeria, Seven, AND Isaac! If you were there last year, this will be a new demo, so it's worth swinging by Booth 6120 to get some additional smooching. Plus you'll be able to buy some nice merch, like the Boyfriend Dungeon pins and our cool t-shirt.
