Boyfriend Dungeon TTRPG: Life on the Edge is out now!
The game's ruleset is based on the Powered by Apocalypse system meaning all you will need to play is two D6 dice. The characters you create are weapons who can also be wielders so you will inevitably have to use eachother to battle your way through whatever dunj and fears your characters have. Maybe even dual-wielding! Curious what a play session looks like? Check out our playtest with Victoria Tran, ThatBronzeGirl, Steven Lumpkin and Tanya X. In your Steam folder for Boyfriend Dungeon (usually, in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Boyfriend Dungeon for windows) you'll discover a folder called TTRPG! Inside are the 3 pdfs. If you're not sure how to browse there, you can easily jump to the folder by right-clicking on the game name in your Library, choosing Properties, then go to the Installed Files submenu and click "Browse".
We would like to thank Maso Perez for coming to us with the idea and adapting the world of sentient, romance-able weapons into TTRPG form. You can follow his work on his tumblr, where I've been told he might start a new webnovel =o We are so excited to hear about what kind of characters and stories you create using Life on the Edge. You can chat with fellow weapons and wielders over on the Kitfox Discord! We would love to see your character sheets and read about your campaigns! Happy dunjing! -Alexandra

Boyfriend Dungeon Linux [1.78 G]
- Date up to seven weapons, from dancing swords to heart-piercing daggers
- Generated action-combat dunj and challenges! Stay sharp!
- Various combat styles. For example, hit hard and dodge quickly with the dagger, or take on crowds with Lasersaber
- Inclusive, tasteful approach to gender and sexuality - male, female, and non-binary romance
- Let's get to the point: take your weapon-babes on romantic outings, such as to the club or the beach
For your summer job, you’re tasked with clearing the creatures in “the dunj”. Soon you discover weapons you find transform into cuties… and they’re SINGLE! (What a craaazy coincidence because you also happen to be up for grabs yourself.)
Spend the cash you earn on romantic outings to forge precious moments with your lovers and work together to clear the rampant monster infestations, because after all, a couple that slays together, stays together.
- Estoc (Isaac): the sharpest dresser
- Dagger (Valeria): tired of backstabs
- Talwar (Sunder): worried he’s becoming an antique
- Lasersaber (Seven): hard to get a handle on him
- Glaive (Sawyer): they'd like you to get straight to the point
- Scythe (Rowan): reaping what they sow
- Brass Knuckles (Pocket): loves cat naps
