Pilots,
Please join me on the shiftBacktick Discord server to ask me anything about the game. Feel free to drop in to chat any time throughout the day. You can even join early to start asking your questions now!
This build represents several important milestones since the game's initial submission to No Video Jam in August 2020. These include a full engine rewrite, the addition of graphics, and countless lessons learned. It also marks a turning point. With the vertical slice in a good place, I feel confident that the next step for S.E.A. is expanding it with more content.
This is where you come in. I'd love to hear your thoughts on my roadmap and where you'd like the game to go next. This will help me identify and prioritize features for upcoming releases. Perhaps we might learn more about each other or meet some fun folks too.
See you Sunday!
You lie prone in your S.E.A., an experimental military watercraft that's fully enclosed. Moments before, you were dropped off in the middle of the Pacific. There's no land for days. It's just you and the sounds of the open sea. Your mission is to test its capabilities.
The ocean is endless. Listen and relax. Surf the waves. Experiment.
