The highly requested translations are now here, plus a few modifications for an easier gameplay experience. These translations have been a work in progress for a few months now since theres over 120,000 words for the characters, so Im beyond happy to have it finally ready!

Changelog:
- New Language Localizations: German, French, and Spanish. These are machine-translations and may not be 100% accurate. Go into Settings, then press on the button next to Language to change it.
- Changed the inventory swap rows from ./, to Q/E. You can still just press on the arrow keys on the screen to do this as well once the backpack is fully-upgraded. It is listed when you open the inventory as a reminder.
- Changed the magic scroll button to pressing Right-mouse or clicking on the arrows in the mini-bar. Reminder in the Tutorial.
- Added a scroll through inventory slots 1-8 with the Middle-mouse wheel. Hotkeys #1-8, plus Left-mouse on the item remains the same for selecting an item. Reminder in the Tutorial.
- Added Upgrade 1 Required and Upgrade 2 Required reminders for the inventory. As always, backpack upgrades can be found in the grocery store.
- Added Right-mouse to exit mailbox letters. Escape, backspace, and clicking the X on the screen still work as well.
- Removed debug numbers from the squirrel when attacked.
- Fixed art for backpack #2's cash sign.
- Fixed art for left/right animations for shovel and pickaxe.
- Removed Player-Face-Mouse in the Settings.
- Updated Demo to 1.2.1

10/30/2022 Changelog:
- Cloud Saving is now available. 'Load Backup' will always default to the files on your computer.
- Added an introduction cutscene when you start the game.
- Added a sale symbol above the backpack as a reminder.
- Added an extra-safety precaution to the chest when you want to destroy it. Mouse must be touching the chest when your pickaxe is being used. This should prevent accidental removal of the chest.
- Removed the bulk of the tutorial when you start a new game, you can now only find the large tutorial in the Settings or by pressing H for help (which is explained in the starter tutorial).
- Increased ORE rate for Copper, Iron, and Gold from 10% to 30% for all dungeon floors. Naslite ore remains at 10%. The best place for Ore remains to be Unwritten Lands with a 50% chance per rock spawned.
- Doubled the price to sell crops for. This should help gold-flow in the early game.
- Improved the character creation screen when using a controller.
- Clarified the wording in the inventory for 'split item held' and 'drop onto floor'.
- For controllers: Added 'B' to back out of menus (original key is Start, but both will work now). Exception for Inventory and Vendor since 'B' is used to move items.
- For controllers: Re-worked the Vendor system to be more controller-friendly. George will tell you, but Right and Left Trigger to scroll through the shop items.
- For Mouse and Keyboard: Gift Confirmation will pop-up when gifting an NPC.
- Re-worked local co-op player 2.
- Updated Demo version to 1.2.0

Greetings Fellow Witches! I want to start off by thanking everyone for their support and feedback over these past few months (oh, how time flies!). It started off a bit bumpy at launch since this is my first game, but I genuinely believe that all of the comments, both good and bad, have helped me to make Brookhaven even better! As of earlier this week, you can now receive Community Items for Brookhaven (Badges, Trading Cards, Emoticons, and Backgrounds). Changelog:
- New Feature: Hardcore Mode in the Settings. You can turn it ON/OFF whenever youd like. This option will: spawn enemies at night on your farm, friendship decay, money earned from selling items is decreased, monsters have double their original health, and friendship gain is reduced by half.
- New Secret Farming Zone added onto the players property.
- New Steam achievements were added for Owning a Raccoon and completing Roman Rocks.
- Added Sparkles to the Summoning Circle in the players cave to remind them that they can interact with it.
- Fixed the loophole that allowed the player to till soil with zero stamina.
- Fixed the players children getting stuck on a barrier inside the house after 6pm.
- Adjusted drop rates for the livestock in the barn and coop.

I would like to announce our 1st community event for Brookhaven! This is a fan art contest! Your art (Digital, Hand Drawn, Crafted) must be tasteful and family friendly to the spirit of the game. You do not need to already own Brookhaven to enter the contest!
Contest will be closed on April 30th and winners should be announced during the 1st week of May!
Theme: Show everyone your Easter/Spring dressed or inspired Witch or Warlock! Must include one element found within Brookhaven in your art somewhere.
Prizes: The grand prize winner will get a physical Brookhaven T-Shirt sent to them plus their choice of a Steam copy of Brookhaven (for yourself or to give to a friend) or a DLC item code for the Steam version.
The 2nd winner will be drawn at random from all those who entered something. The prize is a Brookhaven key to use or give out or a DLC code. We wish to encourage EVERYONE to join in with something and understand not everyone is a high end artist, so long as you submit something that is more then a "stick figure" and seems you put a little thought into it. You will be entered for this one.

This is a small update to tackle an issue with memory optimization. Changelog:
- New Tameable Pet for Supporter 2 Edition: Raccoon. Once tamed, they will have a chance to drop trash or precious stones.
- Optimized the Dark Overlay for minimal memory usage. If you experience an CreateTexture2D error, then I recommend turning Dark Overlay OFF in the Settings since its taking up too much memory space for your device.
- Fixed Janus the Mirror crash when moving him.
- When interacted with, the Bird Nest, Rock Igloo, and Snow Igloo can now tell you what food items to place into them to automatically feed those pets.
- Included the mouse- left click option for the 3 Samhain mini-games. Previously, it was only using the Interact Key.

Greetings everyone! I am going away for the weekend to visit my family out-of-state, but I will be back on Monday to continue adding more player suggestions and bug-hunting. The majority of this update is player suggestions since bug reports have dwindled greatly, so I hope that yall enjoy the new features. Changelog:
- New Feature: Summon monsters in the players cave using the ritual circle. It will tell you how to use it if you interact with it.
- Loophole Fix: Prevent scrolling inventory until you have fully upgraded your backpack. If you had items in the other scroll levels, then they can be found by your front door inside of your house.
- You can give back normal tools (not upgraded) to shopkeepers.
- Loophole Fix: Prevent players from skipping the large barn/coop upgrade.
- Switched Fishing Rewards: Butterfly Net is now available at level 3, and the Fishing Cage is now available at level 5.
- New Skill: Level 5 Foraging unlocks double the Elderberry Harvest.
- New Skill Choice: Level 5 Mining choice: Jeweler (gems sell for double) or Curator (better odds when opening geodes). Keep in mind, you can reset most skills at the hidden statue in Dionysus Village.
- New background art for the Machine Tutorials (if you have Tutorial ON in your Settings, then hover your mouse over any machine to see what it does).
- Prevent accidental machine placing by putting a limit on how far away you can be while placing machines.
- New Skill Advantages: For each level in fighting, you will have a higher innate defense and attack damage.

Changelog: - If you are unable to move when you start the game, check in Settings that CONTROLLER = OFF. This should be a one-time thing. - Adjusted how you chop down trees and mine rocks. Greetings Brookhaven denizens! I've been steadily working on patching up issues over the past few days. Thank you for your patience with me as a new developer. Bugs and Fixes: - Unlocked teleportation spell for the time being for new characters. Its usually unlocked during a beginner quest, but I thought it would be helpful for now. - Reduced texture page to help with possible lag. - Fixed Natalie stunt-double on her ranch while horseback riding. - Fixed the players vampire biting ability that caused a crash with certain monsters (bats, ghosts, squirrels). - Moved Harper to a new spot in the Temple while shes praying. - Changed the sprinklers depth and re-worded its description. - Fixed the Halberd Recipe typo. - Fixed the duplicate foraging bug. - Reduced the collision box on stones, weeds, and trees for ease of access. This should prevent getting stuck on these objects as well. - Added normal fish to the list of fishing catches on the players farm (which I have affectionately named the Trash Pond). - Minions will no longer aggro to quest monsters on their own. - Mouse left-click was added as an additional key for refilling your watering can when standing next to water. - Janus the Mirror gives new cooking recipes. - Added a rug into the library to help show you where the Temple is located. - Added a Setting to turn on/off the Gamepad Controller. I still recommend using keyboard and mouse for now until I re-work the controls. - Fixed combat and textbox dialogue causing a freeze when together. - Reduced the amount of objects (grass, trees, stones) that spawn on the players farm upon starting. -This should help with any lag for new characters. - Fixed accidentally placing items if your mouse was in the mini-inventory. - Patched Prismatic Amulet and Amulet of Health in the Cauldron not showing properly. - Added Notes for the player to read in dialogue with better explanations on how things work. - Fixed the crash that occurred when you have 3.5 hearts with livestock. - Moved the player location in the Unwritten Lands upon entering. - Patched the save bug that caused the player to spawn in weird locations upon saving. - The drone on your farm is easier to destroy. - Increased monster spawn in the Forest and added the Hedgehog into the dungeon spawns. - The Blood Altar y position was changed. If yours is still too high, then visit Katya to move it for free. - Fixed fishing sometimes not opening the mini-game. - You can now sell Evergreen seeds. - Worked on Romans and Thomas dialogue. - Fixed Igloo not being placeable onto the farm. - Werewolves no longer require Silverlight to be killed and decreased their spawn rate on Full Moons. - Prevent objects from spawning after a certain limit to also prevent lag. - Zombie Manor and Menagerie should be built in a reasonable timeframe now. - Added Colorblind-friendly colors into the game. - Fixed the crafting item, bomb, not showing. - Fixed Zombie Manor x and y locations upon exiting. - Added a Starting Chest when you begin a new character. - Added fall and winter art to the beach. - Replaced the numbers on the chest with pictures for what it does instead when you click on it. - Fixed Yeti portrait art. - Increased the spawn rate for worms. - Fixed goblins not completing their dying animation on level 20. - Added a Confirm Exit text when leaving the game. - Fixed the entering Barn and Coop bug. - Fixed the Iron Breastplate crash while equipping it. - Fixed the shower for transformed players (werewolf, wendigo, bat, giant).

Brookhaven is now officially released! This has been a long two-year journey as a solo game developer, and I couldn't have done it without our lovely community. Brookhaven is a project that is close to my heart, and I have plans to continue adding new content (new romance options, more quests, more spells, etc.). The official release date is set for February 18th and Beta Testing is still on-going since it's been a blast. I'd love to have everyone join us on the Brookhaven Discord to see some sneak peeks, and to chat with all of us about the direction of the game. Features:
- Learn how to perform magic! Magic is the backbone of this world and everything revolves around it.- Figure out the mysteries hidden within the storybook by completing quests. Perhaps you’ll solve the mystery of how to return to your world of origin or you may decide to stay. The choice is yours.
- Customize your player appearance, home, and property. Start with a simple home overrun with trees, rocks, and weeds and make it your own.
- Over 80 mythical creatures roam throughout the land, including: witches, werewolves, dyads, centaurs, mermaids, vampires, yetis, slimes, mummies, zombies, ghosts, demons, goblins, talking animals and vegetables, and so much more.
- Improve your skills over time. You can level up your skills by fighting, performing magic, farming, foraging, catching bugs, fishing, and mining. Each level unlocks different crafting recipes and improves your success rate in that skill along the way.
- Embrace the mystical pagan traditions of the locals, and become part of their community.
- Grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, nuts, and fruit trees. These items can be used in cooking recipes, alchemy recipes, quest lines, or as gifts to villagers. Each villager has their own unique likes and dislikes for items they receive.
- Forage the land for mushrooms, flowers, and herbs that change with the seasons.
- Bug Catching. Collect rare and exotic specimens that you can collect in the museum, use in potions, give as gifts, or sell for profit.
- Fish in the ocean, rivers, and lake. As with everything else, the fish are seasonal with the added catch of also being location dependent. You can improve your fishing rod by using different baits and gadgets.
- Extensive cooking, blacksmithing, alchemy, and tailoring systems.
- Explore the vast mysterious Dungeon that contains some of the most dangerous creatures, puzzles, and quest lines.
- Raise animals for their resources, including: egg collecting, feather collecting, milking, shearing, and animal sacrifice.
- Romance and marry a partner to share your home and life with. Have children who will grow from infanthood, attend classes as children, and make their own life in town.
