Hey there, Lonely Lovers...
Placebo Love is now available on Steam!
It's a new game by Twelve Tiles/Merlandese, and it's about Soulmates and Doppelgangers and evil Beverage Conglomerates! And it plays like the "dating sim" sections of a Persona game! You'll love it!
You see, Lorne Volley answers a spam email promising him the love of his life... but he answers it twice! And despite all odds, he meets his Perfect Woman alright... but also twice! Same face, same laugh, same attitude, but with different names and in different cities! What sort of mysterious conundrum IS this!?
Luckily he has you to guide him. You're his muse! You help him make decisions, determine his schedule, and let him know when it's okay to lie.
Maybe this game will help you find your Soulmate, and maybe it won't... but what do you have to lose? ;)
Thanks everyone for the help and support in this new endeavor, I hope you love it as much as I do!
- Lan

Before Last Word bubbled up into our lives like a sparkling melon wine, a few other Twelve Tiles games were already crawling about like beautiful toddlers. Fleuret Blanc is a mystery in the style of a Virtual Novel mixed with light JRPG fights. The mystery is longer and richer than Last Word's, but you can clearly see what Last Word did to improve on some of the systems. Despite being a bit rougher around the edges, the plot and character interaction is truly worthy. Social Caterpillar is a puzzle game that explores the mechanics of social interacting from the perspective of an introvert who wants desperately to make life easier. It's abstract, it's complex, and it's good. Both of these games can be downloaded for FREE on Itch.io, so... check 'em out if that's what you're into! Thanks! Here's the LINK!

-Added an indicator when changing Key Topics to denote guest/gossip correlations -Art call discrepency -Added Pause image A BIG change in this one. When you scroll through the Key Topics you can now see who has been spoken to by a colored icon. No longer must you click people randomly, fingers crossed, hoping you have not gossiped with them yet! This should streamline one of the processes that seemed to create a lot of frustration, and I'm pretty happy about it. :) -Merlandese

Grab your wine glasses and enjoy the professor's grand display! Last Word has arrived on Steam! I should be hitting the Big Green Button soon! Hey, everyone! It's been a great adventure building this game and I'm excited to have it out for purchase! We're starting the release with a 20% discount to celebrate. A free glass of wine, too! Red? White? Rose? You name it, and you'll get it just as soon as I figure out how to ferment wine in the Steam portal. Enjoy the game, and feel free to leave comments, impressions, concerns, jokes, gossip, and as many other penultimate words as you can in the Steam community. :)
