Previously you may have encountered some lag spikes while playing the game, unfortunately this lead to some pretty big glitches and some entries on the leaderboards were a result of them. This has now been fixed, and the game should run smoother. But to keep it fair, the first 10 leaderboard entries of each level will be removed. Happy playing!
Some of you suggested to add a start area, while others suggested to add a timer. Both have now been added! The timer will start as soon as you step off the starting platform. Hope you like these new features!
This small update decreases the time which the player has to jump in the air, previously it was too long. The reason for this change is to balance out the movement as a result of the previous new mechanics, and to make it a bit more challenging for the experienced players. Hopefully you like this change!
A couple of players mentioned that it would be good to adjust the brightness of the game, you can now find that setting in the settings menu! Hope you like the new feature!
Up until now, you may have noticed when playing that when you stepped off a platform you immediately began to fall down, this is something that caused a lot of players to fail. It is now changed. Now, when you step off a platform there will be a small grace period which will let you stay in the air a little bit longer before starting to fall, this means several things:
Previously when pressing A or D while in midair the player would move with at sprinting speed. There have been some changes to the way side movement works now, here they are:
While watching the you play on Twitch and YouTube, I noticed that often when players thought they would overshoot a platform they pressed the S key, which would immediately shoot them backwards causing them to actually miss the platform. This is now fixed. Pressing S while in midair will now slow you down to almost a complete stop, this should make it easier for you to nail the jumps. Let me know what you think, and happy playing!
This update focuses on a small bug found in the way names are displayed in the leaderboards. When a name was too long it overflowed to the next line, making the scores hard to read. This is now fixed, also the leaderboard names are now with a constant size as before they were scalable, but this looked weird. Happy playing!
