Utopos 1.11f fixes two bugs: - Clicking next arena didn't work because you would always be restored back to the first arena after one second - The random arena didn't work, it just moved you to the main menu

Utopos 1.11 contains a number of important fixes that were reported over the weekend, and a few enhancements. Realtime issue tracking: https://trello.com/b/r4j8ee0H/utopos-issues-features - Realtime arena status display in lobby (so you can see who is playing and what the score is) - Colored names in lobby and during game - Railgun and buchu fixed for certain players who had previously played URG (especially on Atari VCS) - Frag counts are now in sync even if you join in the middle of the game - Frag counts are server-authored so all players will see the same results at the end of the game even if there is lag - 3-second delay after the game is over before the continue-button appears, to avoid skipping the end screen accidentally - Player name showing Slayer initially even if it was customized, has been fixed - Error message if the player tries to create an arena and an arena with the same name already exists (previously the game just returned back to the menu and didnt say why) - Left stick menu controls are now fixed (i.e. not inverted anymore) on Atari Modern Controller - Health bar should be in sync on all clients - Railgun and thrust sound should stop when the game ends

The previous update disabled cross-platform multiplayer while we waited for the Atari VCS version to be updated. The Atari version is now in sync again so this update restores the cross-platform play.

Utopos 1.10 is a major update to the game! The default game mode is now "Timed deathmatch" where the frag/kill count determines the winner. - New game mode which keeps the games open until the end, so you'll have up to 10x more games to join (previously a game would only be open for joining for about 15 seconds). - New sound effects - Numerous bugs fixed, the game should be more stable - Network traffic optimized to about 40% of the previous version - Weapon powers have been adjusted (railgun about 20% weaker, buchu 20% stronger) - Weapon simulation is improved so you should see much better "hit rate" based on what you see on the screen even if the connection is laggy. - Current version is locked to one region only. - Not cross-compatible with Atari VCS version until the VCS version has been updated. - AI games are now single-player. You can only spawn AI players before any humans have joined, and once AI has been spawned, no humans have noin the game. - Base recharging should be fixed now. The time limit has been removed, as camping at the base is no longer going to help you win. - There's new tool for reporting bugs and uploading log files.

Utopos build 1.09 contains the following, and more: - Profanity filter for usernames and arena names - Firing is now done in FixedUpdate 60 fps, meaning that you are not in disadvantage if you play on a low end computer and the game runs slower - your weapons still fire as fast as they should - Created arena name is now stored, so you don't need to type it again every time - Health bar colors changed to highlight the type: blue is for shield and the green is for hull health - WASD + mouse control! You can now control the ship using WAD keys and fire the railgun using the mouse (left mouse button fires the railgun, right mouse button fires the buchu). - Railgun and buchus are now launched outside of the ship rather than from the center - Weapon setup doesn't use Guntech/URG settings anymore, which will hopefully fix a bug where some users were unable to fire railgun or buchu. - Winner screen in AI matches was displaying the host human player name even if the AI won

Utopos build 1.08 contains many bug fixes and enhancements, including: - Player names were indexed incorrectly when the game had 3 or 4 players - Wall collisions were randomly not giving any damage - Wall collision damage is now significantly reduced - Base health recharge and health powerups can no longer be picked up after death, preventing "life after death" condition - Network players had their flame on constantly. This was fixed so that the flame indicates actual thruster operation - Thrust flame for network players was incorrectly positioned - Powerups can now be picked up by one player only, even if two players appear to grab one due to network lag - Powerups are now reliably collected and removed from the scene, this had some randomness before - Main gun recoil increased - Buchu recoil significantly increased, also buchu damage is up about 30%

Utopos build 1.07 adds experimental AI bots! The game host can now press M to spawn up AI-controlled opponents (the maximum number of players is still 4, so there can be up to 3 bots when there is just one human player). Other fixes and improvements: - Wall collision damage reduced (possibly too much) - Powerup visibility and line-of-sight shadows now support multiple local players, which is necessary for the bots - Fixed a bug where HUD messages were displayed for wrong players - Fixed a bug where the player name was not saved to the cloud - Fixed screen aspect ratio, so the game should work on odd-sized (e.g. square) monitor - The thrust flame was incorrectly visible when the ship was out of sight - Shortened the respawn timer by 0.5 seconds to 5.5 seconds

Utopos build 1.05 fixes a number of small issues, including: - Ship to ship collision didn't cause any damage if the shield on one ship had been lost - Railgun sound was left on repeat if player died while shooting - Camera stops further away from the corner building to avoid the buildings blocking visibility - Particle effect for railgun impact was missing a texture - Health bars were displayed on top of the "winner" message - Added links to Utopos Players Facebook group and Utopos Discord for finding people to play with

Utopos build 1.04 adds a region selection, which is important for match-making. The way Utopos works is that the game is spread over multiple regional master servers. There's one in Europe, two in the US, one in Japan, etc. When you're in Utopos, you can only see games happening in the region you are on. If you and your friend are on different region servers, you can't join the same game. This new version adds the ability to change your region, so that you can make sure to match up with friends. This version also contains a number of optimizations, helping the game run well on lower end hardware. On low-end the frame rate should almost double. On higher end, the game was already running well so there should be no noticeable difference.

Update 1.03 fixes a few issues in the first build: - WASD are now ignored while typing the arena name, so you can actually write names that contain letter S, for example. :) - UI sounds disabled in places where they don't belong - Arena name is displayed correctly while waiting for players to join - You can now exit the game while waiting for other players to join - The magenta buildings in the corners of the levels cause damage when collided with
