It's been five years since I published Crazy Steam Bros 2. Many things have happened since then, and I want to express my gratitude to all the people who bought the game at the time, as their support has helped me to continue developing games. Thinking about a possible "Crazy Steam Bros 3" in the long term, I think it's time to release the game for free for anyone who wants to have some fun with it. In 30 days it will be free. If you want to know about my current projects, check out my Twitter account. Thanks a lot to all of you!

After an useful suggestion, I have added the original "Crazy Steam Bros 1" game, as a bonus for collectors. You should find it in a folder of the local contents of the game. It's a Flash file, so you'll need a Flash player to run it. Sadly, the original files are corrupted, so I can't compile a fresh new version. This is the same game that you still can find in some Flash game sites, so it has two drawbacks: First, it tries to load an ad, and then it throws an error as it want to send some data to a no longer existing web direction. Both drawbacks are skippable, and once the main menu is started, you'll can play without problems. Have fun!

Hi again! I have just updated v1.1 of Crazy Steam Bros 2: - Fixed controls: Now they are more responsive. - Fixed pause menu; There was a bug that allows to continue playing while displaying the options menu. - Fixed ESC key: now the game will not close automatically when pressing the escape key. - Leveled difficulty a bit. If you encounter any problem with the game, don't hesitate to post it so I can try to fix it. Linux bug whit scoreboards is still there. I'm waiting for an official reponse from GameMaker about it. Last, I have uploaded new demo versions of the game. I'll publish them at Steam soon, but at this time you can download them from IndieDB, so you can try the game before buying it. Bye!

Hi. I'm sorry that some users doesn't like the control style of the game. I'm planning to release an update ASAP making the controls more fast and precise. There's a bug on Linux that prevent the scores to get uploaded to Steam's servers. Sadly, this is a third part bug, and I'm trying to get a solution. The only thing that I can't change is the game itself. You can like it, or don't, but the game is what it is. It's not a port of a mobile game, and is designed from a starting point as the same game for all the platforms that can run it. It doesn't pretend to be the ultimate shmup, just a fun and entertaining game. If you want to try it, there are free downloadable demos available here: http://www.indiedb.com/members/arscreativa/downloads You can download it and decide by yourself if you like it or not before buying it. I'll upload also a demo with the updated controls when ready, at IndieDB page and here at Steam. I am sorry that some of you have not liked the game, but I will remain consistent with my idea about game development, that is to create games that I like to play. And I really enjoy playing Crazy Steam Bros. Thanks to you all!

To play you can use the keyboard or a compatible gamepad, and Keys can be redefined at the options menu.
Predefined keys are:
- Arrows for movement for player 1, "RFDG" keys for player 2
- "K" key for player 1, "Q" key for player 2:

To finish and quit the game.
Gameplay is easy. Just advance trough the levels and survive the battle against the stage's bosses.
Eventually, Miss Lily will drop random powerups. Collect them for increased firepower.
These powerups have a limited life, so use them sparingly.
The different powerups are:
- Supershoot:
Increased damage for the machinegun. - Trishoot:
The machinegun will shot in three directions at once. - Air Mines:
They will pursue the nearby enemies. - Tesla Shield:
A force field that will protect you against enemies shots. - Rocket:
A powerful weapon, but not much precise. - Super Bomb:
This bomb will release a pair of normal bombs after exploding. - Tesla Cannon:
An electro ray that will hit the nearby enemies without need to aim. - Tesla Drones:
You can collect up to two of them. They will protect you from the damage, and also shoot a laser ray. They can be damaged and destroyed by enemy fire.
