  • Changed the Hills Village Teacher quest to not require Florp Hides in case all Florps were already defeated before getting the quest.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Rexs being unable to attack the player due to their large jaw if the player just stood still.
  • Fixed an area at the Island Mountain base where Rexs could get stuck on rocks.
  • Fixed a few characters not leaving the main island when the ending of Escape or Extraterrestrial was obtained.
  • Fixed the wrong game ending sometimes being marked as current which would cause all kinds of issues involving incorrect visible characters throughout the world and some problems with quest lines.
  • Fixed a visual glitch with the Loading Screen at some resolutions/aspect ratios.

  • Fixed damage modifiers blocking the main damage value (items giving + attack damage would cancel the main weapon's attack damage and only give the + attack damage value).
  • Fixed the Loading Screen showing only one game tip per session instead of a new one for each load.

Massive Improvements + Upcoming Expansion

Hello Adventurers!

This quality-of-life update brings:


  • Over 300 different bug fixes
  • Huge upgrades to the inventory system
  • Greatly improved performance
  • Many tweaks/improvements to different items and game objects
  • Plus a few hidden extras


Alongside the improvements and fixes released today, we wanted to give you some insights on some things weve been working on that will affect the future of Formagetus and beyond!

A new and major DLC is coming! Yes, thats right, 7 years after the game launched weve decided to come back and give you all a massive new expansion to explore! This DLC will introduce an entirely new planet to explore called Formaghetti! Here, Tree will need to put his skills to the test once again to defeat tons of new (and scary) creatures, battle big bad bosses, and push himself to survive the harsh alien landscapes!


Nothing is final yet, but based on what weve been putting together so far you can expect to face over 20+ new enemies, fight 3+ new bosses, collect 100+ new items, and explore 30+ new areas! Not to mention countless new quests to embark on!

But wait theres more! We understand that a new DLC might not fit into everyones budget, which is why when this update drops (date TBD) we will also be adding a ton of new content to the base game for free! Thats right, if you already own the base game you will gain free access to several new areas, including an icy wasteland and scorching desert! All of this is accompanied by tons of new villagers to meet, new quests to complete, and new enemies to battle!

  • Master Mclean would randomly disappear, making it impossible to build the airship.
  • Some creatures and objects (Angler Fish, Frogs, Random Doors, etc.) were being rendered invisible.
  • The Dog would have a very difficult time eating food and could not eat some food items like burgers.
  • The player preview that rendered on the GUI did not match up to the actual player in-game sometimes.
  • The wrong account would sometimes be deleted when using the delete account button from the main menu.
  • The intro movie did not play on new accounts, only once when the first account was created.
  • The player could not drop down ledges by using Down + Space, only S + Space.
  • Bees were super glitchy and would randomly cause massive FPS drops.
  • If the player declined the Old Grandpa's quest, the subtitles would permanently appear, even after the tutorial was finished.
  • The rokzin guards would walk in place if the player was near them, it was good for their health at least...
  • The final rokzin gate would not open if you were friends with the rokzins and defeated the florp general.

  • Fixed a bug that was making the players current experience level render inside the colons making it very hard to see what level you're on.
  • Fixed a bug that was making the Bottle of Poison render as nothing but still display a tooltip.
