Greetings everyone! Exciting times are ahead. It's been quite a journey. We are announcing today that the Teaser for DROVA will soon be delisted from Steam. And there's a simple reason for that: October 15th. That's the day when DROVA will be released. Originally the Teaser was a demo to pitch to publishers. To communicate our vision. And so much has changed. Not only did we find a Publisher and Partner for DROVA, the vision itself evolved. While the full game is still true to the vision, it got so much more. And is technically on a completely different level. The Teaser is pretty much outdated. In many ways. And people keep confusing it with the actual game. Welcome to our Devblog - an update series on the development of "Drova - Forsaken Kin"! In the last update video, we talked about two entirely new areas, the completion of the first chapter of the game, as well as our approach for armor animation! All of the previous episodes are available as well, if you're curious. Chris will be speaking German in the videos but we're always offering English subtitles! Solve a quest and become immortal!

Go on a paper chase before Thursday night to craft a talisman and you will find yourself mentioned in the main game itself as well as in the credits! Help a cute couple, play songs on a Lyra and draw symbols onto your talisman. You don't have to be the first to solve the paper chase for these rewards! As long as you solve it before Season 3 ends and message the code to Thomas on our Discord, you'll get the rewards.

It's that time of the year again. Time for another season of "Drova - Arena"! This time with even more cool prizes and new features. All you need to do is launch the Teaser, select "Drova - Arena" within the launcher and click "Play". The Arena is a spin off focused around combat and player feedback to test out system for our upcoming RPG "Drova", which we will start developing in early 2022.

Drova Arena Season 3 is starting on 01 June!

Sharpen your weapons and get ready for new enemies and a whole new dimension to the Arena - Talk to the NPCs around and listen to what they have to say. Maybe they will lead you on a paper chase and who knows what you will find at the end of it? As always, you can win cool prizes simply by playing. This time you won't even have to register on our Discord, just pick a username and play!

Hey! It is done. More than three months have passed since the last season and a lot has happened in the meantime. We left the basement and we're ready to show what we have been working on.

What is "Drova - Arena"?

The Arena is a spin off focused around combat and player feedback to test out system for our upcoming RPG "Drova", which we will start developing early 2022. Play the most recent version of our combat system! The Arena will be a 5-minute-long, fast-paced arena fight with multiple waves of challengers. We want to present new weapons, new enemies, controller support and a completely revamped UI. Provide us with your feedback and shape the next season of the Arena! How can I play the Arena?

Another "Drova - Arena" Season is coming your way - on December 01, 2021, were releasing the second Season with new features and new enemies!

What is "Drova - Arena"?

Even an RPG needs a good combat system, thats why we decided to showcase our combat system in the Arena. We would like to test new weapons, new enemies and other features in an approximately 10 minute long arena fight. The final game will still be an RPG. A big update for Drova is coming your way - on August 24, 2021, were releasing the first season of Drova: The Arena. Thats already in two weeks!

What is The Arena?

Even an RPG needs a good combat system, thats why we decided to showcase our current combat system in The Arena. We would like to test new weapons, new enemies and other features in an approximately 10 minute long arena fight. The final game will still be an RPG. On one hand we want to show you our current progress as well as collect and review your feedback to make Drova as good as we possibly can. On the other hand, we dont want to leave you in the dark about the state of Drovas development and share our passion about the game with everyone. On August 24, 2021 were launching The Arena. In season one, over the course of four weeks, we will show the revamped spell system, new enemy types and basic enemy AI.

How does The Arena work?

There will be an update for the Playable Teaser which enables you to choose between playing the Teaser or The Arena when launching it. The plan is to continuously improve our games features in cooperation with the players over the course of multiple Arena seasons. This will not be possible without your feedback. Take this chance to participate in the development of an RPG! We gladly accept any feedback that you might have. There will be a form to fill your feedback in but you can also contact developers directly on our Discord. Basically, after you equip yourself at the merchant, we throw you into an arena and you will have to defeat the incoming enemies, much like the gladiators did back in the day. In doing so, youll collect a highscore, for example, for the time needed to complete The Arena. This way you can compare yourselves with other players and you can even win a prize.

Thats right, you can win two prizes. After all, we want to give you something in return for giving us feedback.

First place will live on forever! Together we can work out how exactly you want to be immortalized in our final game, be it as a quest NPC or just a statue. Today is a special day for us, as we are releasing this free, playable teaser here on Steam. It showcases the vision of our full game that is planned to be released in 2023.
