Dear Community,
it came to our attention that you are concerned about the project, since there havent been any significant updates in recent months.
We hear you!
There is no need to worry, though.
We are hard at work to put the finishing touches on the game in order to leave Early Access as soon as possible and give you the version 1.0 you have been waiting for and then continue to support the game in the foreseeable future.
However, since we decided together with the publisher Toplitz Productions, to release the game simultaneously on consoles, it complicated things a little.
All the updates that we made for the PC version also need to be included in Harvest Days for consoles.
Those versions are not handled by us but by another studio. This added another layer of possible delays especially when problems needed to be addressed.
All sides want Harvest Days to be the best possible gaming experience you can have, regardless of if you play on PC or consoles. To achieve the quality you deserve, sometimes, like in this case, it takes a little longer than expected. But we are almost at the finish line.
We will return to the update cadence you got used to as soon as possible and appreciate your patience. We will make sure that the wait is worthwhile.

- Chests can now be labelled. Approach them sideways to assign a name to your chest.
- Chests can now be moved once they are in place. Just keep in mind that they must be empty.
- When you move onto a sowed farming tile, its planting is labeled now.
- If you move an item from the hotbar to the inventory and the slot becomes empty, it updates the character animation to show the tool or gift and disables it when the slot becomes empty.
- When crop is harvested, the soil will automatically become weedy again.

- The image of the mission "A new life".
- Extended the "do not build here" parameters in order to avoid overlaps (House upgrades).

FIXED
- A bug that increases your affinity with some villagers who are driving around in vehicles.
- Dragon Fruit and Coconuts not respawning after the first day unless you exit the game and reload.

- Purchasing a rental lot has all materials in the red even if you have them all and buying the lots will only work with the mouse.
- When there are 2 or 3 letters in the mailbox, if the first has an "Accept" option, and you click it right away, it closes the mailbox without letting you see the other 1 or 2 letters.
- The recycling bin lids overlap with the recycling icon sign.
- The controller thumb-stick will no longer scroll down through the secondary quests in the journal.
- If you restart the game without saving, the contents of some chests will be lost. This happens if the chests contained structures and you placed them just before restarting the game, because you erroneously placed them, and they cannot be moved once placed.
- It is very difficult to see the red item count (Inventory and hotbar).
- If you accidentally double clicked the button on your controller to open the bin and the second click sent your first item in your inventory, which was a full stack of wood, into the bin.
- Some of Marcus' workers are walking under the terrain.
- If you try to park your E-Scooter to near to the rostrum, you will be trapped in the cage when you get off the Scooter.
- A bug with the quest to collect Marcus's buildings plans. The quest is not showing in the Journal.
- The skin colour of the female character's head is different from the skin colour on the rest of her body.
- Every time you get off the scooter it wont let you use your tool you have to switch tools and then go back to it, which is a bit annoying.
- Sometimes, the dog ball disappears.
- Some menus do not support Chinese characters.
- There is a rock in the mountains, that cannot be mined. You just pass through it like it isn't existing.
- Some tooltips stays until you reload the game.
- Some berries are unreachable (Forest).
- Liam is in a trailer; he cannot be talked to and therefore cannot be added as a "known" name.

- A bug with the horse. When you ride to the lighthouse area on horseback, it will not move out of the water at the lighthouse. In addition, you cannot dismount and so it is completely worthless to ride the horse to the lighthouse at this time.
- A bug when pressing buttons in some menus. They remain selected continuously.
- An exploit that allows you to achieve maximum affinity with the villagers.
- In some menus, some vehicle images are incorrect.
- A specific Dragon fruit plant never drops a Dragon Fruit.
- There is a rock in the mountains, that cannot be mined. You just pass through it like it isn't existing.
- In rare cases when you are fishing you cannot reel in your fishing rod and no matter where you move with your fishing pole the boulter just stays taut.
- If you walk up to the barns to upgrade them you get a screen with red letters even if you have the correct materials. It gives the impression you do not have the materials since they are red, but it will proceed and upgrade if the materials are in your inventory. The colour of the letters should be black.
- Some desert rocks do not have a collision box.
- Some shops do not show the correct opening hours.
- Some fishing rods do not show the line when fishing.
- When fishing, the correct buttons to perform the action are not displayed.
- The exclamation mark disappears from the mailbox if there are still letters to be read. It should persist until all letters have been picked up.
- The character sometimes struggles to get up after performing the sowing animation.
- Some menus are shaking.
- Occasionally, the ambient sound stops.
- Winter: some parts of the map are not snow-covered.
- In the journal menu it is not possible to scroll down when playing with a controller.
- If a fishing rod is equipped in the player's hand it does not allow you to move items into the inventory and it also creates worms and assigns them as bait when you click on an item.

- A conflict when riding in vehicles and talking to villagers.

In devlog number 15 we will share the progress of Harvest Days over the past few weeks. A lot of exciting features are packed into the upcoming December update EA 0.8: character customisation, pet expansion, greenhouses, achievements and many more.

Character customisation is and was one of the most requested features and we are happy to announce that it becomes a reality in Harvest Days: My dream farm now. You will have a lot of options to choose from to make your character unique: you can choose whether you prefer to play as male or female, 12 skin colours, 45 hair styles, 12 hair colours, 6 eye types, 5 eye colours, 18 eyebrow types, 12 eyebrow colours, 15 mouth types, 18 facial hair styles, 12 facial hair colours, 9 clothing styles to choose from. If you feel undecided about the look of your character, remember that you can click the Random button and let yourself be surprised.
Another new and exciting feature is the pet expansion: we have added 7 new dog breeds and 7 new cat breeds. In addition, we have also added colour variations to the different dog and cat breeds. In total you have 27 pets available for adoption.

One reason is: Rachel now also sells pet supplies such as food and toys. Now your pets have their own needs, just like the farm animals. So, if you want your pets to be happy you will have to make sure their food and water bowls are full and play with them to increase your affinity.
The mechanic of playing with your pets is new as well. You can throw the tennis ball to your dog, and it will bring it back to you. The same with cats, you can throw the ball of wool to your cat, and it will bring it back to you. The more affinity you have with your pets the further away from your farm they will follow you.
Another new feature is the greenhouse. Greenhouses allow you to grow any crop regardless of the season you are in. Greenhouses are unlocked by levelling up the farming skill. Greenhouses are especially useful in winter as the freezing temperatures of this season prevent you from growing any crops on your land. If you have a greenhouse this will not be a problem for you, even in winter you can still harvest fruits and vegetables, the most efficient way to earn money in Harvest Days.
And finally, the achievements. We have added a total of more than 80 achievements that you can unlock as you progress. You can check the achievements in the main menu, under the achievements button.
During the last weeks, we have also fixed many bugs and improved a lot of game aspects thanks to feedback from our community. Every day we are getting closer to having the best possible game in its final version. Thanks to all of you for your support. Hello everyone, we are Family Devs, father and sons developing indie video games.
In devlog number 14 we will share the progress of Harvest Days over the past few weeks. A lot of exciting features are packed into the upcoming October update EA 0.7: vehicle expansion, kitchen expansion, house upgrades, barn upgrades and new crafting recipes among many other things.
Thanks to the vehicle expansion you will be able to take your farm to the next level. We have included five farm vehicles, which allow you to automate tasks on your farm. The mechanic of the farm vehicles is very simple: just drive over your fields with your tractor to get the job done. With the plough you can harrow the field and remove weeds this way. The seeder sows as many seeds as you want. Just equip your seeds on your tractor by clicking on them. The sprayer waters your crops very quickly. With the manure spreader you can fertilise the sown soil with the fertiliser of your choice. Remember, there are 4 types: worm castings, organic fertiliser, basic retaining soil, and premium retaining soil. And finally, once your crops are ready for harvesting, you ought to use the largest of the farming vehicles, the combine harvester.
But the vehicle expansion doesn't just end there, in addition to the farm vehicles we have added an off roader, a quad bike and a cybercar. Of course, the pickup truck is still available as well. With these vehicles you will be the centre of attention and fun turns into exceedingly more fun.

We have also been working on the kitchen expansion. We have added more than 40 new cooking recipes: cakes, pies, pastries, breads, typical food of some countries like United States, Germany or Spain and much more. These cooking recipes are unlocked by increasing your affinity with the villagers. Some cooking recipes are made in the kitchen, and some are made in the stone oven, which you must craft yourself. The cooked dishes can be sold, gifted, or eaten. Each villager has tastes and if you give them a dish they love, your affinity will go up a lot. Talking to villagers will sometimes give you clues about the preferences of other villagers. You can also visit villagers' homes to look for clues, for example: Rumour says Michael loves pizza? Is it true? Check it out!
Some of you may already have noticed the farmhouse beyond the house features two For sale signs since an earlier update. Indeed, we have been working on structure upgrading for the past few weeks. There are two house upgrades. To purchase one home upgrade, you must obtain enough money and resources. This grants you more space for placing your furniture and home decor. In the upcoming months we plan to deliver an update that will take home customisation to the next level. Maybe a carpenter will move into Duda's Village? Who knows, stay tuned....
Once update EA 0.7 becomes available, you will be able to automate the husbandry of your farm animals. The small barn and the barn will each have two upgrades available: an automatic feeder and an automatic drinker. To obtain either of those two upgrades you need to gather enough resources and money. Once you have these upgrades in place, youll never have to worry about feeding or watering the livestock again. Automating both processes is an excellent way to clear more time to spend with other activities like fishing or mining.
And lastly, soon, a new crafting machine will be available as well: a mill. The mill allows you to grind cereals and beets. You can produce your own flour or sugar, which will be especially useful for cooking recipes.
If you've been keeping an eye on our Steam page, you may have noticed all the recent changes to Harvest Days. The Steam cloud allows you to take your game wherever you want. Improved character movement in place due to the community feedback (Thank you all!). Alex now purchases vehicles. Kiko now sells cooked food. All adult farm animals now produce every day if they are well cared for: chickens, rabbits, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and deer. More than 150 new cultivable plots of land on the farm. And many things more. If wed to mention them all, this devlog would go beyond the scope.
As you can see, the development of Harvest Days is going very well. We are working hard on the game, and we will continue to work this hard with every day passing. We might also stress that were very happy with the feedback we receive from the community. Please keep it up! With every day we are getting closer to have the best possible game in its final version. We are back again! Yes, weve steadily worked on Harvest Days My Dream Farm and we have another update for you, this time featuring a good number of bug fixes.
First of all, the game now supports Steam Cloud!
In addition, we have worked on the character controls and tightened the screws on the camera movement.
Another significant step in this update are the animals on the farm: they have received a new UI.

Hello everyone! The latest update features a few changes to The Farm. The pond was moved to another spot on the compound and more arable land is now available there. Several structures for the farm have been updated with new 3D models, like the stable and the barn. Animals that have been well taken care of will now produce better resources. The vehicles controls for game controllers should now be more accessible. In addition, we have more changes and improvements as well as fixes for you! Mind that some of the changes affect previous game states, especially if you placed animal housing close together. Talk to you all soon again!

Hello community, Yet another update for Harvest Days: My Dream Farm today! Included there are a few changes, for example we have adjusted some parameters in relation to the character's movement. Some people reported suffering from dizziness after playing for more than 1 hour. That's why we have increased the character's turning speed. Hi everyone,
we are Family Devs, a father and sons indie game developer.
In this Devlog bearing the ominous number 13 - wed love to share the progress of Harvest Days over the past few weeks.
The latest update includes the home decor expansion.
Furniture - you will now be able to craft more than 25 types of furniture such as chairs, tables, cabinets and so on. Crafting furniture remains unaltered: use the workbench, and you will unlock new crafting recipes as you progress in your crafting skill. Additionally, you can move your furniture and home decor whenever you want.
We have also added claw machines. You will find them in Kiko's restaurant. From the claw machines cuddly toys can be retrieved in exchange for a few coins. There is a huge variety of them, collect them all! You can use them as home decor.
In this latest update, seven new quests supplement the game, they spread throughout year 1 in-game.
A new crafting machine is included: the preserves jar. This machine allows you to make your own pickles and jams. There is a wide variety available. And of course, while your delicious jams are being cooked you can dance!
Joining the game is a water well. The well allows you to refill your watering can anywhere on your farm. Thanks to the well you will save a lot of time to do some basic tasks like watering your crops or feeding your animals.
We have updated the 3d model of the stone stove, now it has a more uniform appearance with the other assets in the game.
We are also working on the Kickstarter exclusive legendary pets. More news about those soon.
As indicated above, house interiors in the villagers now have furniture and home decor. Visiting villagers' homes, you can gather clues about their preferences and get to know them better. For example, you can find out what their favourite foods are, among other things.
Did we mention vehicles yet? No? You can personalize your vehicle's number plate now.
The SOS Towing Service is already implemented. You can recover your stuck vehicle by interacting with the machines located next to the Police Station.
But above all, one of our bigger tasks in the last few weeks had been the search for a fix to the "Missing items" bug reported by some players. This has probably been the most difficult "bug" to fix in the whole development of Harvest Days. Yet, the cause is so trivial but elusive its the price paid coming with standardisation. Harvest days uses .txt files for saving game data. Many countries use commas as decimal separators instead of periods. That's why the QA people from Toplitz (Germany) and we, Family Devs (Spain) didn't have any issue, but other players did (USA, UK...).
Trying to figure the puzzle
So as suspicion hardened after all the tests we did, we did another test: We changed the language of our computer from Spanish to English and set our region to the United States. And indeed, we lost all our chests, structures, animals
After changing the PC to our original settings (Language Spanish and region: Spain), everything reappeared. Nothing is lost. That's it!

Hello Community,
Today we have a new hotfix for you, EA 0.5.5b.
After upgrading to EA version 0.5.5, a few of you have reported significant losses of in-game material in your games.
We at Family Devs and Toplitz Productions would like to take this moment to reassure you: Your data is still present; you have NOT lost ALL your game progress. What happened is that an undisclosed error disrupts the loading process, causing an internal bug and the game code cannot be fully executed.
With this new hotfix (EA 0.5.5b) the game code can be executed even if errors occur. This will make things much easier for both you and us, the developers, to identify the bug(s) that are causing the issue.
However, we would also like to stress that this hotfix is not a guarantee that all issues will disappear completely. It is just another - safe - step on our journey together in this Early Access.
We would also like to point out again that our path here in Early Access began only recently. Continuous functionality is not an automatism at this stage, we expect bugs and look forward to fixing them as they come up, and we're glad our community is helping us do that.

Hi everyone, we are Family Devs, a father and son indie game developer.
With this devlog, number 12, wed like to share the current progress of Harvest Days over the past few days and the exciting stuff to come.

It's been a few days since the Early Access release of Harvest Days: My Dream Farm. First of all, we wanted to thank all of you who have supported us.
We are currently working on improving the game controls. As a part of this we have reassigned the controls for gamepads. Also, all menus will close when pressing the ESC key or the B button for gamepads.
Previously troublesome screen resolutions should no longer cause any issues as we diligently have created a completely new UI.
In the settings menu we have added the option to invert the y and x axis and to control the volume of different sounds separately. This is something you have asked for often.
We have added several new crafting machinery, such as a furnace, a mayonnaise machine, and a cheese press, among others.
In addition to that, we are working on a SOS phone box that will allow you to request the help of a towing service. This way you will be able to retrieve your vehicle in case it gets stuck on land or underwater.
We are also pleased to announce that we are working on one of the Stretch Goals of our successful Kickstarter, the Mini Games. Here's a small preview... Kiko's Bar claw machine will be interactable and you will be able to get new plushies to decorate your home.
On the foraging side you will find new flowers, new mushrooms, and new wild fruits. During the seasons resources will be spawned in Duda's Village.
We've also made it possible to refill watering cans and wooden buckets at the river or the beach, as well as at your farm pond.
Ultimately adding to all the things mentioned above we have fixed many small bugs thanks to your feedback via our Discord and the Steam forums.
We will plow away and do our best for you. Thanks so much for helping us bring Duda's Village to life!
All these new features will be released in the next few days, with the release of the EA 0.5 update and subsequent updates.

The time has come! An armada of craftsmen, road builders, landscape planners, architects, ecologists, event technicians, animal keepers, gardeners, economic advisors, and ichthyologists have moved all around the area surrounding Duda's Village to set the course for the creation of a paradise.
The foundation has been built, starting today you can move in and make Duda's Village a better place. The huge horde of skilled workers has left a few things unfinished. But now you are here! Enter a living world, turn your farm into a thriving business, plant and harvest all kinds of healthy and tasty crops for the local shops and make friends with the residents of the village. Scout the area and have a look around, there's lots to discover!
Today Harvest Days enters Early Access, which means another big milestone has been passed. But that doesn't mean the work is done yet! We want to continue the journey together with you and we are looking forward to your - as always welcome - feedback and your great ideas. Devlog #11 is NOW available!
In this devlog well share the progress of Harvest Days over the last few weeks: a new and updated open world, the seasons, an exciting new event, a new trailer and much more news.
We have expanded the map, as already announced in our previous devlog. The actual map is much bigger and much more beautiful. Countless places with lots of secrets and surprises are waiting to be discovered. We can visit different shops and trade with the locals. We can also go into the lush forests and fish in the crystal-clear waters of the lakes or take our horse for a ride in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
Of course, we can't forget that one of the main pillars of Harvest Days is the farm simulation. We are pleased to announce that we plan to implement more than 50 crops: vegetables, tubers, fruit trees, exotic fruits...
We have also been working on the seasons. Colours, crops, ambient sounds, music, and weather conditions will make each season a unique experience for the player.
Another exciting thing we have implemented is a new event: the welcome party. This event will be the perfect opportunity to meet the villagers. It takes place in the village square, where the villagers have prepared billboards to welcome you. In the evening there will be a special concert to celebrate your arrival to Duda's Village with good music and fireworks. Of course, you can join the party and dance with the villagers.
From February 21 to 28, Harvest Days participated in the Steam Next Fest. We really appreciate the great support we received for our demo and the tons of feedback we got thanks to you.
During the same week that the demo was playable on Steam we already implemented some improvements thanks to the feedback from the community.
For example improvements in the colour palette, improvements in some menus, improvements in the player HUD... And many more changes.
Here's a little thought from our side: "As we mentioned before, we got tons of feedback from the community: positive and negative. Most important of all: we are decided to listen to our community and turn that negative feedback into positive feedback by implementing the necessary changes. This is what we have been doing for months and of course well keep doing it, thats for sure."

Devlog #10 is NOW available!
We are pleased to announce that fishing, one of the main features of Harvest Days, is now implemented. At the moment there are a total of 36 species of fish. Fish can be found in oceans, lakes and rivers. Some fish appear only at certain times of the day or during certain seasons while others only appear during certain weather conditions.
We have been working for weeks on the design of a new world, much bigger, much more beautiful and with many more locations. We look forward to sharing the first images of the new Harvest Days world with you in the coming weeks. Subscribe to our Youtube channel to stay tuned. We're sure you're going to love it!
A few days ago we set up a Harvest Days Discord server. We invite you to join if you haven't already. It's a great place to share your feedback directly to us, the developers and make new friends in the chat room.
Two events take place every season: the street market and the artisan market.
At these events you can buy and sell products from different street vendors.
As you earn friendship points with each of these vendors you will receive discounts and gifts on future purchases.
We have added a total of 15 quests so far. But during the development of the game, we will continue to add new quests.
We have also improved the Settings menu, adding many more options.

Thanks to the support of our community we reached our goal and also unlocked the first of the stretch goals, the mini-games. During the last days of the Kickstarter, the Harvest Days demo was available on Steam. We got tons of feedback. We are really very happy! One of the suggestions from the community that we have already implemented is the reduction of the timing of some in-game animations. We have already implemented the controller support too. We have improved and added new features to one of the main pillars of Harvest Days: the animals. We have created the ranch, a place where you can buy farm animals: chickens, pigs, rabbits, cows, sheep, goats, horses and even deer. We have integrated some gameplay improvements proposed by the community during the Steam Playtest. For example: the ability to select items from the skillbar using the mouse wheel. We have also integrated the auto-save system and created different game slots. We are also integrating new structures into the game: buildings for farm animals and houses for your pets. Toplitz Productions, the German publisher is known for having published titles like Medieval Dynasty or Farmer's Dynasty, among others. The main goal of Toplitz Productions has always been to develop and publish video games with heart and soul. At Family Devs, we empathize with their way of thinking. Game features:
- Create and manage your farm. To grow your farm you must cultivate fruits and vegetables, take care of your beautiful animals or go deep into the forest to fish in its river.
- Explore an open world full of places for discover. Countless places are waiting to be discovered by you on Harvest Days: caves full of valuable minerals, a temple in ruins, a swamp with an abandoned treasure... and much more!
- Build relationships with villagers. Join the village community and make new friends. You can dialogue with them and decide the course of the conversation.
- Buy, sell or exchange products with the merchants. Thanks to commerce you can generate economic profits from the products you have obtained with agriculture, livestock and fishing. It is also possible to commerce with the resources you have collected on the map.
- Gather resources and craft your own tools and furniture. The open world of Harvest Days is full of resources to obtain: wood, rock, minerals, precious stones, magic mushrooms, berries...
- Move around the map with vehicles or horses. Ride on your horse and gallop into the mysterious forest to relax with the song of the birds... Although perhaps if you need to carry cargo, you should use one of the vehicles. You decide!
- The player is totally free about the decisions he makes and this will make each game unique since depending on how he interacts with other characters, his destiny will change.
- Unlike other farm-themed games Harvest Days includes RPG and Survival game features.
