Hi everyone, I'm writing an announcement to let you know that my newest VN, All Ashes and Illusions, has been released on Steam!
Ashes is a fairly grim 'romance' story about a delusional young prince who falls obsessively in love with his childhood nursemaid, Safiya. Ashes features content some people might find discomforting, such as: a relationship with a 20 year age difference (Yuel, the protagonist and delusional young prince, is 20, while Safiya, his nursemaid and love interest, is 41), dub/noncon, written depictions of violence, coarse language, and a lot of casual misogyny. Ashes is quite a painful read, but it's one of my favourite stories I've written to date, and I'm very fond of the characters. Do consider checking it out, if you're after a VN with an older love interest, and you don't mind a hefty dose of Despair and Suffering! I'd be very interested to hear what people make of this story (and Yuel, in particular), and whether it succeeds in ousting Sweetest Monster from its position of 'The Most Unpleasant ebi Story to Date'! Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you know that my latest visual novel, A Winter's Daydream, has been released on Steam! A Winter's Daydream is a cute story about an elderly grandmother who magically transforms into a young girl! Wacky anime hijinks ensue. A Winter's Daydream as a similar setting to The Way We All Go (the Japanese countryside), and both stories feature grandmother characters. Like TWWAG, it also includes multiple choices and routes - though the routes don't branch like in TWWAG, and there are far fewer endings (only five). There are 4 date-able male characters, but a massive slew of side characters... a couple of whom might look and act a bit familiar if you've read TWWAG. Still, the writing style between these two VNs is rather similar, even if the content is not. I imagine they would be similar, since I started to write it immediately after I finished the script for TWWAG. A lot of it is pretty dissimilar from The Way We All Go, but it's free! It's pretty light/fluffy, though the writing style and setting are kind of similar to TWWAG's. I'm happy to announce that, after this update, The Way We All Go should now have achievements (only about 7 months after it was released...) The achievements should trigger after you reach each ending. As there are 21 endings, there are 21 achievements. If, for some reason, the achievements do not trigger for you, or do not work, please let me know.
