As mentioned in our previous communication, we will continue to provide weekly updates as we are able to move forward with developing relevant new content. Please find below our remarks explaining what is changed in comparison to the previous update

HOW-TO DOWNLOAD:

• Right click the game on your Steam Library
• Click on "Properties"
• Select the "Betas" option from the list
• Select the "careermodebeta" branch from the drop-down menu

DISCLAIMER:

• As you'll see, there still are and there will be details to work on. We wanted to show you that we are working on delivering new features and improvements in a timely fashion
• The game is NOT balanced. We are still within a development process. It is being constantly improved and new features are being added every week
• The game will have BUGS. Please report them if you can afford the time

TECHNICAL RELEASE NOTES:

IMPROVEMENTS:

• Disallowed the kick off shot towards the opponents goal. Now kick off can only be directed to your side of the field
• Implemented a falling/missing shot animation for when the shot control is pressed for more than the allowed 1 second. This is also the case for passes, corner kick, throw-in, goal kick, kick off
• Balanced the power stat related to Pass/Kick
• Remapped controls for the Goalkeeper. Pass button is a One Handed Pass, Kick button is a Two Handed Pass and the Skill button performs a Half Volley shot
• Implemented the Power Kick to Goal type of shot. It can be performed by pressing the Pass/Kick button between 0.9 a 1.0 seconds. It is pending to be associated with the skills logic
• Added a field to display cost of XP spending
• Changed the Team Creation screen to save team details when pressing ESC key to avoid accidental deletion
• Added the light reflection and depth effect on the custom team round flag that is displayed on the scoring field
• Added some new pixel art pieces to the Events/Calendar screen that sghows previous and future matches
• Changed the CareerMode Icon
• Added the possibility to accelerate the UI elements so that transitions and animations are faster for people who want to try and speedrun through the game
• Changed the color and enlarged the highlight for Text Input fields
• Changed spacing for the Half-Time and End-Game statistic panels

BUGFIXES:

• Fixed a bug that caused the shot strength bar to stay stuck in screen
• Fixed a bug that caused the color effects used for snow climate to stay applied to the rest of the UI even after the match
• Fixed a community reported bug that caused the CPU players not to be assigned for Free Kick correctly when the user performed some roster substitutions
• Fixed a bug that caused the music to be played in its entirety when Enable/Disable music is toggled while in game
• Fixed a community reported bug that caused the CPU players not to be spending stamina when running with the ball. The stamina indicator at the player head is yet to be corrected however the stamina indicator at the bottom of the screen continues there for your information
