Game Features

A story-driven point-and-click adventure game for both modern and classic audiences, set in an altered version of the 1990s with intelligent robots, paranormal activities, and an ancient archaeological mystery. High-resolution, hand-drawn 2D art and animations with an old-school vibe and modern polish. Fully-voiced characters by A-list actors in English (such as Jay Rincon, Dev Joshi and many others) and an original music score (composed by Martin Bezjak and Epix Soundworks) for an immersive movie-like experience. Intriguing and challenging puzzles. Spanning 2 planets, 60 locations, and featuring more than 60 characters. Multiple playable characters. Subtitles in German (by Marcel Weyers), Spanish (by Concha Fernndez lvarez), French (by Christophe Pallars), Portuguese-Brasil (by Rmulo Wehling) and English as the original language.

The Game's Mission

Why did we start hand-crafting Elroy 11 years ago? We wanted to revive that special feeling that happens only once, when you're a kid. When the eyes are wide open and full of wonder. When you're sitting in the living room on a Saturday morning and play THAT game on your parents' PC for the first time.

Hey, friends! It's no secret that we're huge fans of the old-school drawing and animation style from legends like Mr. Chuck Jones, Hanna-Barbera, & Co. They brought the timeless magic of Saturday morning cartoons into our living rooms, making us smile and feel cozy and warm. The vibrant colors, the contrasts, the tiny irregularities of the hand-drawn line and the perfection of it at the same time what a treat! From the start, when we began creating Elroy about 10 years ago, we made a decision. We want both you and ourselves to experience that same feeling of warmth and coziness we had back in the '80s and '90s watching those marvelous hand-drawn cartoons, through Elroy's art as well. There should be no compromise, no cutting corners. Using modern tools, all of the art in Elroy and the Aliens is carefully drawn by hand, ensuring that all the colors, shadows, and lines are just right, exactly where they're supposed to be. So, how do we do it? Here's a little time-lapse of a desert ghost town named Losantos coming to life. And make sure to turn on the sound, too! ;) Until next time, folks! Hello dear friends! The year is coming to an end and some of you might be wondering where we are with Elroy. Well, we're extremely proud to announce that we are sailing into the holidays with the game feature, story, puzzle and voice-over COMPLETE! Here is a glimpse behind the scenes featuring our amazing actors recording the voices for Elroy and the Aliens. Featured in this video are 4 of our 20+ actors for Elroy's 60+ characters. Heyo, folks! With engineers having a knack for finding and building solutions to complex problems, they rely on various tools and tactics to complete the task at hand. This one seems to be plug-and-play, though. :) In this sneak peek, we catch a glimpse of Elroy as he navigates his home, picks up a propulsion module, climbs the stairs to his rooftop and, as engineers do, installs it in his DIY rocket. This video is a short example of how we strive to orchestrate the voice, art and sound of Elroy to make the characters and environments of Elroy and the Aliens as lively as the old-school Saturday morning cartoons we used to love as kids .. and still do as mature and responsible old farts.
