Since the first game in our Freakpocalypse trilogy released just over a year ago, we thought now would be a good time to update you on the next game. We know many of you have been waiting to hear what the status on Freakpocalypse Episode 2 is, so we thought you all might enjoy some details and a sneak peek at what weve been working on for the second game.

Freakpocalypse (Episode 1) is now LIVE on Steam for Mac & Linux!

Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse v1.10 Patch Notes General Updates & Additions: - Using UI-Cancel in the main menu will now return the user to the title screen. - Added a quit confirmation pop-up to the game over death screen. - Added visual cues to repairing printer cable. - Hobo Moe now follows the player in front of Golden Haze to block entry. Bug Fixes: - Bug fix where hanging Sawyers flyers was being marked off early in the notebook tasks list. - Added missing sound effects to generic chairs interaction. - Fixed an issue with multiple voice over clips playing when grabbing certain costumes. - Fixed a Bernie repeating narrative issue when returning to him on Day 2. - Fixed a Firedash repeating narrative issue after completing Condom Conundrum sidequest. - Updated chore, item, and costume pop-ups to better fit text. - Fixed a narrative issue when talking to Stevie Shades after completing his side chore. - Fixed navigation issue when interacting with the ice cream truck.
Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse v1.09 Patch Notes General Updates & Additions: - Added more signposting to an optional item pickup. - Updated requirements for Desperate Times achievement. - Added the new Coming Clean achievement. - Added line graphics to highlight the Load Autosave section on the Loading screen, as some players didnt realize the game had an Autosave function in addition to the manual save slots. Localization Updates: - Updated character names. - Updated various dialogue lines. - Updated missing translations. Bug Fixes: - Fixed a bug with the Project Runway achievement that caused it to unlock prematurely. - Fixed an issue where the Bullies appeared on Knothole Street and interacting with the nearby roadblock signs caused the game to softlock. - Fixed a bug where you could pick up two of the same inventory items at once. - Fixed an issue where interactions for both Coops locker and Chets body overlapped. - Fixed one of Coops reactions to Hobo Moe. - Fixed minor typos.
Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse v1.08 Patch Notes General Updates & Additions: - Made adjustments to the text display on the endgame Report Card. - Fixed a backer NPCs name. - Miscellaneous adjustments to the game credits. Bug Fixes: - An issue existed with some graphic cards that would not allow MP4s to play through our in game video player. We have replaced MP4 with WebM cutscenes for a smoother and more universal video fix.
Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse v1.07 Patch Notes General Updates & Additions: - Adjusted desk pen cup holder collider on Coops desk so it cant interfere with red pen item. Localization Updates: - Bug where dialogue sometimes appears blank when not in English language has been fixed. - Dialogue choice text scaling issues (mostly with French translations) have been fixed. Bug Fixes: - Bug where players are unable to perform interactions in the initial classroom has been fixed. - Duplicate copies from the Scathing Mulch Letter bug should be removed from inventories. - Bug where plastic bag stays in inventory after use has been fixed. - Main Menu options language selection scaling issues have been fixed. - Shark Dad achievement not completing if the outfit was unlocked first has been fixed. - Grading on the endgame Report Card has been adjusted so higher grades can be reached. - Chores and Tasks text appearance in notebook have been adjusted to prevent cut-offs.
Cyanide & Happiness: Freakpocalypse v1.06 Patch Notes General Updates & Additions: - New Report Card added to end of game allows player to see what they did & didn't accomplish. - New "Point of No Return" options have been added to the end of Day 1 and before the final game area, so players can choose whether to continue forward or stick around longer in order to complete side quests, find more costumes, discover hidden characters, etc. - Quarter size has been increased due to poor visibility on smaller screen resolutions. - Quarter relocated elsewhere due to the size increase making it too easy to spot in its original location. - Missing elements restored to Circle J cashier countertop. Localization Updates: - Updated missing lines discovered in Simplified Chinese dialogue Bug Fixes: - Finger Trap bug that allowed Coop to bypass Droogs entirely has been fixed. - Beret costume element vanishing from Coop's wardrobe upon loading saved game has been fixed. - Delay in receiving "Hobo Hindrance" side quest until after house chores were completed has been fixed. - Cutscenes not loading and/or displaying infinite "Loading" animation has been fixed. - Main menu "Missing UI" error appearing on some player screens has been fixed. - Players being able to receive infinite copies of the "Scathing Mulch Letter" inventory item has been fixed. - "Desperate Times" Trophies are now functioning properly. - "Speed Demon" Trophies are now functioning properly. - "Gotta Got 'Em All" Trophies are now functioning properly. - "Don't Slurp That" Trophies are now functioning properly. - "PermaPeeper" Trophies are now functioning properly
