Hey guys, I'm back with another project! This one's on the house, a story-focused rpg project I've been working on since about December of last year. Hope you think about checking it out! It's free!

Hey guys, I've been working on a sort of pseudo sequel/ spiritual successor to Vomitoreum called "Angel's Gear". Basically, similar aesthetics to Vomit but in a 2D metroidvania with cool combat and movement, and more of a story focus. Check it out! Or don't... or whatever..... *begins crying* LINK: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2241560/Angels_Gear/
Sorry for the year and a half delay on this, I got sort of distracted (and lazy). Vomitoreum should no longer launch other games (like Doom, Doom II, Heretic, Hexen, etc. etc.) when opening the game. Thought I'd do this during a lull period, if you manage to see this before updating you may want to back up your current build to finish your playthrough, since updating GZDoom games wipes save data. Hope this helps, again, sorry it took so long!
Meowdy! I hope you all are enjoying the game. I've been spending the last few hours fixing most of what you all have reported. Here's a list of the shit I fixeded: -Fixed that fucking piece of shit invuse keybind (I really hope!) -Vomitoreum and Umadermadine framerate improved -No longer can hear player actions during critical cutscenes -Improves telegraphs for certain game mechanics -Vomitoreum no longer repeats dialogue -Fixed Sister boss not completing issue caused by them damaging eachother -Sisters no longer damage eachother -Improved visuals on intro segment -Blacksmith door close bug fixed -Fixed Bunkerblocks counting as enemies -Bug fixes across the board I will continue to fix the game more and more over time, but I hope this cuts out a lot of the main issues y'all are experiencin' right now. Thank you for playing the game!

Vomitoreum Linux [134.02 M]
A dark and arid hellscape inspired by the likes of Metroid Prime and Dark Souls, Vomitoreum is an FPS Metroidvania set in an interconnected and nightmarish world.
Explore a land that has been plagued with an eldritch infection, a horrible fog that blankets the world and turns it’s denizens into wretched mutants. Delve deep into the ruins of this plagued world and find a cure for this horrid blight.
You are the Nephilem, a vessel born of cosmic ash and the churning souls trapped within graves. Created as a being able to survive the hellish environment and search for a way to make the fog recede, you will scour the lands in search of tools and weaponry that will be useful on your journey.
The Nephilem’s end goal is to make the infection and the fog recede, destroy the horrible demons plaguing the land, and let life flourish once again.
Vomitoreum has a world inspired by the painting of Zdzisław Beksiński; intense combat; challenging but fair gameplay; and a world waiting to be explored! Rise from the grave factory and see what Vomitoreum has lying in wait for you!
