Evening Vampires!
Creatures of the Night, tonight we will be talking about the ongoing development of Draculas Castle. Well go over some new mechanics, new unit types and leveling them up and new locations.
Lets get into it!
[h2]Draining Your Victims! [/h2]
You can no longer feast upon your victims indefinitely. Townspeople will become increasingly wary after each of your attacks, and thus the chance of your failure will increase.
If that wasn't enough, it will be very easy to exaggerate the amount of blood you drink from a person - there is a chance of their death, and this will make Draculas time in town more difficult.
On the positive blood type side (heh, get it?) victory in battle will result in a modest blood gain.
UI Improvements
Hovering over UI Buttons now highlights them! We also cleaned up non-decorative game text fonts. All this to make the game easier and more enjoyable for you to play.
Some rooms are locked behind certain conditions. For example, to unlock the wells you may need to get more peons.
Weve also added a new notification banner, there will be notifications for important events.
The minion card is now dynamic and properly showing NPC information.
Now you can also scroll through tasks in the Quest Journal!
More Workers to Manage
That's exactly right. From now on, one of your tasks will be to take care of your subordinates. For example, Peons will need food and water and small quarters to survive. You'll have to pay close attention to making sure their needs are met properly!
We have also expanded the gameplay with a completely NEW type of NPC - LABORERS!
Laborers will need a bit more space to function properly and have new requirements to keep them satisfied. The good news is that you will get a passive blood bonus if you look after them. This means more resources to collect, more upgrades and more thinking.
The most important question - How to get more workers? Peons will hear of work opportunities at the castle and can be promoted to Laborers. However, you can also find some in the towns and cities, with the help of a recruitment minigame.

Make Some Room(s)!
Personnel is not the only thing you will need to take care of, introducing 3 new rooms to put your precious workers in:
FIRST | Medium Quarters: LABORERS have earned some nicer rooms. They might sleep better at night... But then again...
SECOND | Beastmasters room: This hairy guy looks after the castle's pets. Primary provider of wool. (You cant see him at the moment, he is in the shadows)
THIRD | Weaver: This happy chappy operates the mystical loom to make blankets and coats, which helps with your workers' needs, and this is their office!
