Hello everyone, Just updated the game to version 1.1.3, addressing two issues.
- Level 58 was missing an invisible wall, which would allow you to walk around the level's layout to reach the exit.
- Adjusted how the achievement Sapienta works. Before it required you to beat the whole game in a row without jumping around levels via level select. However, this is very unintuitive and unfriendly towards players. So now the achievement checks if you have beaten all the levels. To earn the achievement, simply launch the game, once in main menu, if you have beaten all the levels, you will just earn it.
I'm excited to announce that V-Hunter Puzzler Dx, which just released, is teaming up with Dark Crypt in the Puzzle Dungeons Bundle! Just like Dark Crypt, V-Hunter is a turn-based puzzle game about dungeons and monsters, however in V-Hunter you won't be avoiding monsters but hunting them instead across 60 bite-sized levels. Hello everyone, just updated the game to version 1.1.2. I've discovered few more bugs that have been fixed now!
- In Main Menu when opening the journal, lighting effect from the torch would not hide.
- Gems that can you break would not stop emitting new light effect after being broken.
- Few levels were missing collisions in certain places that would allow you to move out of bounds.
- After the new graphical overhaul, small parts of the story texts in the journal would not format correctly.

Level 8 Adjustment
A decent amount of players struggled with this level. Since it's very early level, I added an extra gate for better sign posting. This does not change the level's solution nor PAR. It only communicates better on which area the player should focus on before pulling the first switch.
Lost Soul Light Fix

SokoChess is a minimalistic puzzle game about pushing chess pieces. Use your pieces to push the black figures to their destination, but be careful! The opposing pieces will capture yours if you give them the chance!

Hello everyone, it's a been while since Dark Crypt got an update! Sorry about the delay, but I've been working on a very special update and other things got in the way on top of that, especially my new game Sokobos!
Graphical Overhaul
A friend of mine has assisted me with the game's visuals, this new update will immerse you even further in the game and make you feel like you are in a dark crypt avoiding monsters which rely on light cast by torches for sight.
The change I am happiest about is the re-work of the simplistic looking scroll! Now our main character has his own personalized journal into which he writes his thoughts.
The main menu screen also got some love!
Quality of Life features
The new update will also include an option to turn on an FPS limiter, option to choose an input style - you will be able to select between HOLDING & PRESSING a key or only PRESSING for the movement. I will be also adding a toggeable camera shake and gamepad vibrations to go along with it.
When?
The planned release date is 29th April 2022 as I am making sure everything works as intended and there are no issues with this new version! This huge update WILL NOT effect your current save file, so you'll be able to jump into this new version and continue playing as if nothing had happened.

A quick update to version 1.0.3
Input Delay
Some people found the input reading too fast when holding down a key, therefore making unintended moves. Increased the delay between input readings to prevent this issue. Enjoy the game and please leave a review, so I know what you think about the game!

Typos in Ending Cutscene
Fixed some typos.
Credits
When using keyboard/gamepad to skip/close credits, there was an issue with the highlight texture not displaying correctly.
Level Brightness
Last update added an option to make the levels brighter. I was informed for some this option wasn't good enough, so I tweaked it further, so the levels are bright enough for darker screens! Enjoy and remember to leave a review, so I know what you think about the game!

Undo button can be now held
Previously, you had to press to undo a move, now you can just hold down the button to undo multiple moves.
Level Brightness
Added new option in Display Settings which allows you to make the levels brighter. This is off by default, recommended for people with darker monitors who have issues seeing in later levels.
PAR adjustments
Adjusted a couple of PARs in some levels to make them more challenging.
