The development of Hanako's Flower Shop has been a profound journey for our team. We began working on the game around 2019, and by the time we reached the demo stage, our lives were turned upside down by the war in Ukraineour home country. Some of us were forced to relocate and adjust to entirely new living conditions. Others had to find ways to adapt to a changed world within the same old surroundings. The emotional toll was immense, and the visible obstacles were matched by psychological challenges that left us wondering if wed ever be able to finish the game. But in the fall of 2024, after roughly two and a half years of complete radio silence following the demo release, development slowly resumed. We moved forward cautiously, burdened by fear and anxietybut we moved forward. Now, after about seven months of intense effort and pushing through that fear, were proud, excited, and still just a little hesitant to officially announce the release date of Hanakos Flower Shop: April 25th, 2025. This game was built with time, care, and deep dedication. It may be flawed, but it's genuinejust like life. Things didnt go as planned, neither in life nor in development, but its a huge relief and joy to finally share this announcement with you. To all of you wonderful folks: thank you for being here. In "Hanako's flower shop" you don't only compose bouquets for customers, you also have to gather flowers. As of now we have four possible methods to do this and one of them is to go for a walk and gather flowers Hanako will happen to stumble upon.
