Hi everyone! We are glad to announce the release of the next major update for Dark Facets, which is focused on the battlefields, but affects not only them!

The main things in the update:

• Passive AI mode

  
  A lite game mode has become available. When enabled, the AI will conduct mainly defensive tactics, without attacking the player on its own and sending combat units only for defense. But this does not mean that after they repulse, enemy units will not attack you, so be careful. The mode is recommended for beginners, for a more comfortable acquaintance with the game. Also the ability to obtain achievements will be disabled.

• Heroes

  
  With a certain probability, when recruiting a combat unit, Hero may appear, which differs from ordinary units by a special icon above the health indicator and increased characteristics (twice as much health and damage). The probability of his appearance depends on the level of the Citadel. In one class there can be only one hero. They can also appear on the enemy.
  

• Scouts

  
  The game has a new class unit Scout , with its own unique mechanics. After he reaches the Citadel enemy, you can issue him the task. With Exploration Scout will attempt to collect information about resources of the enemy and, if he succeeds, information about their number will appear in the window. If you order him to attempt Sabotage, then with a certain probability the Scout will try to either destroy part of the enemy's resources, or damage his building. The enemy is also available to the Scout, which has the same capabilities.

• Now you can control the speed of playing time. Thanks to this, it is now possible to increase the speed of the game by 3 times!
• New achievements related to new mechanics.
• Improvements to the interface: the game settings have been reworked, in the main menu the settings have been moved to a separate section, and in the game - in the pause menu, also added new visual effects, for example, during heavy rain, lightning may appear.
• The update includes fixes for many previously unrevealed problems from incorrect display of units to changes in the mechanisms for calculating game time.
