Hi everyone, I'm just writing a quick post to say that I've made a small update to this VN to fix a handful of typos which were pointed out both in the Steam community hub and in my own Discord server. Ashes should be a more polished experience now, and I hope people enjoy it! I've also added a Mac build so even more people can experience this VN. Hi everyone! I'm making this announcement to let you know that my dark boys love / boys hate visual novel, All Scars and Starlight, has been released!
Scars is a grim story about a deposed king, Yuel, who is taken prisoner by the leader of a rebellion and his older cousin, Tavi. Though Yuel initially despises Tavi for overthrowing him, complicated feelings begin to develop between the pair as Tavi refuses to have Yuel executed, despite the warnings of his advisors. Wanting to keep Yuel safe, Tavi hides Yuel away in the palace where his political enemies cant hurt him - but the biggest threat to Yuels life soon proves to be Yuel himself.
The story has choices and multiple endings, so theres a few different ways it can pan out. Its quite a grim story which deals with topics like self-harm, suicide, and sexual assault, and the main pairing are cousins. The story also contains explicit sexual content, so you need to be 18+ to check it out. Hi everyone! I'm writing a quick announcement to let you know that I've released a free update for my cute BL VN, Unluckily in Love!
The update includes a bonus scenario which can be unlocked after reading the main game. In this side story, Yuel gets turned into a catboy (for some reason) and Tavi has to look after him! The update adds 30k words of extra text to UIL, 10 new CGs, and several new achievements to unlock. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed putting it together! Ashes features content some people might find discomforting, such as: a relationship with a 20 year age difference (Yuel, the protagonist and delusional young prince, is 20, while Safiya, his nursemaid and love interest, is 41), dub/noncon, written depictions of violence, coarse language, and a lot of casual misogyny. Ashes is quite a painful read, but it's one of my favourite stories I've written to date, and I'm very fond of the characters. Do consider checking it out, if you're after a VN with an older love interest, and you don't mind a hefty dose of Despair and Suffering! I'd be very interested to hear what people make of this story (and Yuel, in particular), and whether it succeeds in ousting Sweetest Monster from its position of 'The Most Unpleasant ebi Story to Date'!
