A short news item to let you know that you can now buy Superfluous Returnz and Little Brats! in a Steam bundle which will give you a 15% discount. Note that the discount works even if you already own one of the two games: you'll only pay the difference.
Negotiations had been going on for several months in the greatest secrecy. It's now a done deal, and it's not without a certain pride that I announce today the integration of my Superfluous character into the great Marvel superhero family!

It is with great pride that I announce the release, today, of the first official port of Superfluous Returnz on console, and not the least: the Nintendo Switch! I have to admit that if someone had told me, as a kid in the 90s playing the Nintendo 64, that one day I'd be releasing a game on the latest Nintendo console... Maybe it's stupid, but I must admit I'm a bit emotional :) For the moment, there's no web page to buy the game from your computer (it'll come, apparently it may take a little time) but you can find it directly in your console's eShop. The port obviously includes the gamepad mode available on other platforms (and the content is the same as on other platforms). Now's the time to convince your friends who only play on Nintendo Switch to enter the fabulous (and slightly absurd, yes) world of Superfluous Returnz! Note: the Nintendo Switch version is available in Europe, America and Australia/New Zealand. Depending on your region, you may have to wait a few more hours for the title to appear on the eShop.
The Steam Awards have begun, and if you've enjoyed playing Superfluous Returnz, don't forget to nominate the game in the Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award category! To mark the occasion, we're giving away a 20% discount on the game, which you can also take advantage of on the Deluxe Edition. So if your loved ones haven't got the game yet, now's the time to tell them to do so! See you soon for new adventures...
- A bug cancelled character movements at the start of a room. - Some corrections to texts and translations
Several bug fixes, including : - fixing of a part of a dialogue that was inaccessible (with the farmer in part 2) - fixing of some animations stopping during a dialogue
I've been asked about it for several times, and now it's done: the Superfluous Returnz game has its own Discord server! You can come and chat, share your opinions/tricks/creations, etc., via this link: https://discord.gg/KxGFpQnR
A rare crash could happen after the introduction, using a very specific set of steps.
Here's a video showing how the various game modes in Superfluous Returnz were conceived and developed:
Fix gamepad buttons disappearing if another mode is momentarily used
I'm proud to announce that Superfluous Returnz is now available in Italian, under the name Superfluo Ritorns! As the game is set in a small French village, I think it's great that it's been translated into another European language, and I hope that players in Italy will appreciate the familiar atmosphere :) A huge thank you to Miranda Miri Clarke who spontaneously offered to translate the game, which is no mean feat (over 2300 lines of dialogue, after all).
You can freely listen to the game's soundtrack on Peertube (and soon on YouTube, the upload is in progress but YouTube has certain limitations so it takes a while). And if you want, you can also buy it as DLC on Steam, in FLAC and MP3 formats. So yes, the album title uses the English version of the title (Superfluous Returnz) and the track titles are in French: why make it simple when you can make it complicated? I liked the idea of keeping the French touch for the titles, while using the international name for the soundtrack. Not that it changes much, the music remains the same... Happy listening, and see you soon for new adventures!
Little announcement: there are now Steam achievements in the game! So yes, if you've already played the game, you'll have to play it again to unlock these achievements. I apologize for that, I didn't plan to put any in the first place. Have fun and see you soon for new adventures!
- The game now has Steam achievements - Various minor bug fixes
Gamepad fixes: - Fix wrong OK/Cancel buttons when solving a code - Wait until player is close to 2 objects to show selector and count 60 seconds before hiding it
