After our demo at Steam Next Fest, we realized that we didnt have the most intuitive interface and sometimes unclear gameplay. We think that this is normal - for us this is the first experience of creating a game, and we will have to go through many iterations until it turns out acceptable. We watched the game streams, were happy with the mentions on Twitter, and set out to redo everything. As a result we:

• changed one of the quests;
• simplified the stealth scene;
• added a couple of new scenes;
• we made three (3!) endings - we are especially proud, now you can not only go through the demo in different ways, but also see the consequences of the choices made.

Hello everyone! We have news about Paper Bum - we drew 10 costumes for our pencil dog and made NFT out of it. This is not a part of the game, but sprites, drawn specially for sale. What for? Together with our producer, we decided to try a hype thing, in general - just for fun. Before that, we did not go deep into cryptocurrency, and, in our opinion, the best way to learn a new direction is to try it yourself. After all, no ones words will be as convincing as our own experience. Of course, we soberly assess our chances and do not expect to make millions, we just want to scout out the situation - wiggle the dog's nose, so to speak :) We have nothing to lose in general, Paper Bum is our first and experimental game project, why not continue experimenting? And yet, about the millions ... We heard a story: when the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection of pictures first went on sale, photographer John Knough bought a smoking monkey in a spacesuit with laser beams from its eyes for $ 320, immediately after the collection was created. And six months later, Knof sold the rights to the picture for 347 Ethereum, which is equivalent to $ 1.4 million. We still can't believe it, but it's true! Paper Bum has won the Game Pitch in the nomination Best Game by 1518 studios! The jury appreciated the art-house nature of the project and the hard work of the team, and in the comments to the broadcast we were called "the game about a drawn doggy" :) In addition to warm words, we received a grant that will go towards running costs - to make the game even better! We have a wild burst of inspiration and a frenzied boost of energy! Now we just go ahead - to the demo version and release!
