MAKE A MAP, WIN A PRIZE
First of all, a huge thank you and a virtual bear hug for all of you. The amount of engaged playtesters has exceeded our wildest expectations. Your feedback has already helped us tremendously, and there are still two more weeks of playtesting ahead of us. We are super excited to share the joy of creation with you! Speaking of creation, we have noticed that you like our map editor quite a lot! We have seen some rad maps you have made, and we want to reward you for it!
Here is the deal. You make a map, we play it, we like it, we play it more, we cry tears of pure joy, and you get a prize! To enter the contest, use the (available in-game) map editor. Create the most beautiful, dreadful, chaotic map you can and share it with other Scouts over Steam Workshop. The best three maps will become part of "Editors Choice". Thats right! We will highlight our favorite creations, so everyone can try them out and appreciate the masterminds behind them. The creators will gain eternal fame and glory as their names will appear in the credits. To thank the talented Scouts, we will also hand them keys to Driftland: The Magic Revival and Danger Scavenger. These are two awesome games created by our friends at Star Drifters. Submissions are open till the end of the playtests on 7th March. The winner will be announced soon after that. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask here or on our Discord server. The year 2221: More than two centuries ago, the surface of the planet became uninhabitable. The remnants of humanity struggle to survive without electricity and light. Dreams of a better future died long ago, but a recently discovered mineral has brought a spark of hope. Lumen, a crystal with high energy potency, may be the last chance for a struggling civilization. Scouts, brave miners, have been sent underground to a settlement near the Lumen deposits. New scouts continue to join this mission, but so far, no one has returned. It seems that the darkness of the underground holds more than just natural riches...

With a lot of effort and a set of original algorithms, 2Dynamic Games have transformed the open-source Godot Engine into a completely new tool. This allows every bit of terrain (pixel, as we used to call them) to be destroyed, and maps can be painted as if in a drawing program. What’s more?
